@@dsm9263 I used to play a lot on Mr.Deds campaign server. Idk if it's still up. There's mostly a bunch of mega servers now that may or may not be safe to join. Makes me sad. It's a great game and has one of the best arcade with a touch of realism flight models ever imo.

I bought the game a week ago, yesterday I entered a game in which everyone was quiet and I started to make monke noises. Literally 128 players were shouting like a god damn zoo, and I could bearly breath. I swear I never had so much fun in a game that it's full with those situations.

And on a side note, being a Battlefield junkie back when it was good, I've been wondering about buying BattleBit. I've heard a lot of back on forth on whether or not it's good - is it worth it?

But hey, if you wanna give it a spin, rumor is they're going to do a free... time thing at some point on november, so keep an eye out for that I guess. What are the main concerns that you have ?

@@daemoniaque6640 It’s almost the end of November, so I don’t know how much longer they’re going to wait on something like that. Price isn’t something I’m concerned about ($15 is cheap), I’m more worried about cheats and hackers as well as there being a META build that wrecks everything in sight. One hit shotguns have always been my bane, ever since that explosive, automatic shotgun from BF3, and every shotgun in BF1. Basically, I hate one-shot weapons…

@@darthmeta6445 I haven't really run into any hacking issue in about... 150 hours ? Regarding build matters, some people will say that "Nooo smg op there's no reasons to use other guns", but I've been using basically only ARs since the start of the game and I've been doing fine. It might have been a bigger problem early on but definitly less so now. Only OS weapons are snipers on a headshot, RPGs and mbt cannons for obvious reasons. Also grenades and C4, but C4 is very short range and typically only used as last ressort when all your guns are out. RPG isn't that big a problem, or so I have found, just gotta remember to not hug your cover if you think there's one nearby. Tanks are tanks. Run if you hear it, but don't be mistaken : they're far from invulnerable, and an overeager tank dies QUICK if he overextends. Snipers, just use smoke/move eratically if you gotta cross an open area with one. The scope glint will often make it clear that it's a danger zone. Overall I'd say balance is in a good place, more so than at launch (you don't see Kriss Vektors everywhere anymore), and don't worry about shotguns : devs have stated that they won't be adding them.

You’re on the ground, bracing to hold the line as the swarm of helicopters closes in. Suddenly you hear a familiar guitar solo echoing from somewhere high above you. You look around to see which smartass brought the tunes to the battlefield, and that’s when you spot it: directly overhead, flying backwards, is a lone chopper blasting a heavy rock song. As soon as you catch sight of it, the crazy bastard at the controls kicks his bird 180°, slides into a steep dive, and screams towards you. Both miniguns immediately open up from the side doors, ropes drop out covered in infantry, and Guns ‘N Roses screams over the top of the aerial blitz: _”WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE-!”_

These guys have the same energy as the servicemen in the "You Want Some Fucking Napalm?" video. But seriously, this made me nostalgic for the times I played Battlefield 3 and 4. I still remember this one match on Seine Crossing. It was on BF3 for the Xbox 360, so the max capacity was only 12v12. I was on the Russian team and we took all the objectives, pushing the US team all the way back to their spawn on the other side of the river. Let me tell you, that was some of the heaviest fighting I've ever been in on that game. The whole river was a no-mans land, with the bridge being the only way to cross since we locked down the rest of the river. We had snipers in the two to three story buildings on our side of the river and they had snipers on their side of the river as well. The Engineer, Medic, and Support classes on my team were taking cover from incoming gunfire behind the low walls, supplying ammo and health, reviving those that got shot, and launching RPGs at any tank or jeep that tried to cross the river. That was my Battlefield moment.

I love running into people who randomly role play a character in games. Funniest match of CS:GO I ever played was with a white guy pretending to have a Japanese accent talking like a stereotypical 100 year old elder in a movie. Whole game he just kept acting like he was giving us words of wisdom and he never laughed or broke character until I played a match with him alone later in the night.

My favorite was playing on the desert city map I'm blanking on the name of. We flew to the big high rise in the center that had Russian forces sniping and setting up heavy guns. Pilot jukes three RPGs and as we do a fly-by we all chuck frags onto the roof. They retreat into the stairwell. Three of us hot drop out and the pilot keeps circling while door gunner is mowing down any Russians poking their head out of the door. We bounce a few frags off the doorframe and down the stairs. got seven kills from one frag. Was amazing.

Got into a transport little bird once, pilot had a streamer tag but I couldn’t remember their name for the life of me. I thought I was half decent flying by the guy was dropping us off hot via nose-dives and pulling up fast enough that we were basically coming in like ODST’s. Like shit, pilots in this game sometimes go hard as fuck.
