She has the most linear connection between player skill and character viability

These people wanting her one shot gone obviously have never played a fps game before. One shotting to the head is literally the ENTIRE point of a sniper. The difference between her and other one shots is she has way less utility other than her one shot. Hog could tank really well and the hook was super easy to land even for noobs, sojourn had mobility and could draw people out with her grenade thing. The only thing most of widows kit does is help her hit those headshots and the trap is useful but nothing broken.

she has a lot of counters she’s definitely balanced. also you need to be good at the game to play her well

Good widows are just terrifying, not just the ones that can nail HSs, but ones that use the most bizzare and unexpected angles to rack them picks.

The widow crying is unreal, it's the same as sniper in TF2. IF someone is good enough to consistently kill you, you play around it. Neither characters are invincible.

What do you think about the widow nerf for the next season?

there're 3 reason why widow are stong 1.sniper one shot in the head in other shooting game are fine cause all gun are hitscan,or all gun are projectile so it ok to fight against sniper but in ow half of the gun are projectile some are hitscan with dmg falloff some are limited range projectile and some hero don't even have gun to shoot, then we got this hitscan one shot from max range. 2.dev don't want counter pick but widow is literally absolute counter to all projectile with limited range and hero with only melee. 3. in order to be good at this game you need good position good cooldown management aim mapknowledge etc but widow require none of that all you need is good aim and basic position of sitting far away in the back.

The funny thing about widows is that it takes skill to be good at her. But against a good widow there's not much counterplay. They nerfed her hp but she's still really strong. I dont want them to nerf her damage tho, it would render her useless. Maybe maps need more cover idk

what i would do is put her back to 175 hp, and make it to where she gets a laser sight when she scopes in. it would make her 1 shot feel less annoying and give u the option to counterplay her before u even die. like when we are playing junkertown 1st point what usually happens is we get rolled because widow is sitting so far that she is undiveable and she just headshots my team. but as soon as we get second point we start rolling the enemy team because the widow can't sit 70 meters away lol

Widow and hanzo are the most balanced, or even the weakest characters in the game. They require a lot of skill. I started playing widow lately due to kenzo, and let me tell you, for someone who sucks at aiming, she’s hard as hell to play. Being able to perfectly flick for headshots or trace for headshots isnt easy. Hanzo is harder since with him you have to predict your shot, since he has bullet drop. People who hate them for being able to 1 shot are just bad. They are snipers. Thats what they do.

I won’t say she’s not balanced, but even if she is a sniper. Getting 1 shot from across the map is hella annoying especially in a rank like this. She’s frustrating as to play against once someone actually masters them like kenzo. I’m not saying she’s broken but widow definitely needs a rework.

One shots ruin the game They should do the same they did to sojourn to widow and hanzo, 195 damage on a headshot. Meaning you have to hear 1 fully charged head plus a tiny bodyshot. Gives you time to run/get healed. Counter play!

She's legit easy lol. I ain't saying she takes no skill but you just click heads and that's all lol. I main mercy and Kiriko and widow is legit free value in most games. Tbf thats because no one wants to die instantly so people ignore her way too much. She needs to be hunted down. Which is why I go kiriko. I'm a hell of an assassin kiriko. Creep over and kill widow or if shes good and evasive just waste her time and that helps your team. Just don't die to her, they get cocky. Cocky widows are the scariest.

Dva is unbalanced as fuck , you have to kill her 2x but if she gets her Mech back , you have to kill her another 2x and that would be 4x
