What we got up to in this video...
Welcome to Dhiffushi Island in the Maldives!
Located just north of Male and also a 40 minute public ferry ride from our previous island of Thulusdhoo is the picture perfect island of Dhiffushi!
Immediately as we arrived we felt welcomed onto the island, everyone was so lovely and helpful. We stayed at the Ameera hotel and we would highly recommend to stay here if you go as the owner and staff were absolutely incredible and so caring.
WE FED STING RAYS! How cool, we fed them just after the sun went down at the top of the island and the locals got everyone involved it was so special. We honestly had THE best time on the island and didn’t want it to end.
We hoped you like the new video in the Maldives and apart from the public speedboat we really did, this island was super cheap so if you want to go to the Maldives on a budget then its easily achievable on this local island.

Backpacking in the Maldives on a budget, yes that’s right, all thanks to the beautiful local islands this amazing country has to offer! We were so surprised and felt so grateful, enjoying this most dreamed about location! You don’t need to spend all that money on the luxury resorts when you can have such a similar and just as incredible time here! What local islands would you pick? Breakfast was included in the price here with the room, it was served in the dining area just outside our room in their own restaurant where they also serve lunch and dinner too, all amazing every meal we had and a big selection too! Thank you for watching 😁

You take a public boat it leaves at around 4pm in the afternoon and the takes you 😊 hope this helps

We only use 50 sun cream nothing else 😊

You should talk about the plastic problem on the island, because I chose to visit the island thanks to you and we were devastated seeing the amount of garbage that you can see in the ocean and land. TOO SAD to experience that reality.

What a shame that has happened to such a beautiful island! We didn’t see any plastic pollution otherwise I don’t think it would be at the top of our list!

@@Onthemovetravelstoriesla verdad que si te fijas, hay mucho plastico acumulado por las islas, es una pena, creo que no tienen la cultura del reciclaje. Igualmente algo que no se dice pero si vas es obvio, es que se està construyendo sin control, creo que 10 años mas, y lo habran estropeado,. Me da mucha pena.,por que se podria edificar respetando el entorno.
