I love the layout! I am not a fan of open floor plans because having the kitchen in the family room is weird to me. When I cook, i want peace and I don't need my sofa to smell like sauteed peppers. And when I watch tv, I don't want to hear someone doing dishes or cooking. Love this design!

I agree. Never thought that I would like a floor plan where the kitchen didn't flow into the den, but I actually prefer it. Being able to cook in peace would be a joy. Also, the bedrooms are all together, which I like very much.

I am extremely 'picky', but I loved this house. It has everything. For a wonderful change, a house that even has a more than just adequate pantry. All the women in my family have enough stored to last for months. We don't worry about blizzards or if we can get to the market due to ice. In any eventuality, we are covered. And all that in a comfortable and classy home. Congratulations - it's perfect!

I know I said on the other @akashidesigns that that would be the starter home I would buyer for my daughter but I really believe that this is the one. The layout is divine, the decorator did an amazing job AGAIN, and unlike the other one it has a larger office with bookshelves and a ½ bath. I mean I am just gushing over your designs. You deserve EVERY SINGLE AWARD that has been given to you!!!

The only thing I'd change is the bathrooms. I'd have a large walk-in shower in the master and have a tub/shower combo in the guest bath. The design is still very beautiful though.

Very nice design. Though this is 1 1/2 times my home. I would need a road map getting around let alone the daily up keep. Seniors want to downsize their home. This is for someone who's in established in their career and starting a family.

Nah, I am a senior and I think it would be perfect for my husband and me. Plenty of space for the grandkids when they come to stay (which is often!) Plus, I cook meals, batch cook and put up a lot of preserves. I need a big kitchen and pantry with lots of bench space for my equipment.

Its a nice house but I just think now is the time to start building homes where each bedroom has an ensuite. For this house, that would mean one more bathroom added. Shared bathrooms between bedrooms is 1980's design.

Beautiful home, but I would need that fireplace to be centered. I hate left sided fireplaces. Also, maybe open up the kitchen a little more so that way the person cooking can still engage with company in the living room.

Alike this design, but the changes I, would make for me is too switch the refrigerator & microwave and put in double ovens , and put the microwave under the peninsula or add to cabinet feature, and I need freezer space in my pantry. Nor, do I want a door to the laundry room .I, would increase size of fireplace & put the TV above it. IT'S TOO MANY DOOR'S IN THIS DESIGN AND THE DESIGN WITH THE DOUBLE CAR PORT I'm always thinking SAFETY!!! THIS IS A CONTENDER FOR ME, OVER CAR PORT DESIGN.THANKS KK

Lovely? I have not viewed the website. My only concern is that the primary bathrooms do not appear to accommodate persons like me who needs ADA facilities. And there is nothing for seasoned adults to pull themselves up from the toilet. I'm hoping when I visit the website there are design options for the disabled and seniors.
