Swimming is not allowed in the lake because there have many incidents of people drowning in the lake. The cold water can cause hypothermia resulting in drowning.

Hey brother thanks for your concern but Im a good swimmer and I have ice baths everyday so I'm good with cold. I LOVE THE COLD BROTHER. gives me an amazing burst of energy everyday. Mind over matter! If you can control your breath and mind you can expose your body to crazy cold conditions. Trust me I've done alot worst then this brother. Lots of ❤️

There is a beautiful tale about this lake and that's how it got its name.its said that a Prince from Egypt named sail ul malook travelled all the way to this lake because it was said that fairies come and and fly above the lake at night.the fairy badri something idk the full name was seen by him and he fell in love.she then was taken by monster or something lol.many people camp here to get the glimpse of the fairies 😆

You should have hiked further up the valley (2 hours hike from this lake) to see another beautiful lake very high up in the mountains called Ansoo lake (tear lake) you were at Saif ul Malook which is 3224 meters above sea level while Tear Lake is 4245 metres

Lake Saugus Malook is interesting and beautiful but I agree thst if you have seen lake com and lake chiasso in Italy they are much more beeautiful ..however the dramatic mountains are quite unique in this lake for sure

So Pakistan is my country via marriage, but I am a white westerner by birth. I very much appreciate that you are sharing and documenting this video with everyone. I would like to say something though that Pakistani's being too polite and hospitable would probably not say. I am western and I want to ask you a direct request for the sake of my people's comfort in public places. It is wonderful that you enjoyed time swimming, but did you know that in this culture you are probably making the families around extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable swimming without a shirt? To them that is like you are naked. My people, because that is what they became when I got married, are extremely giving. Please consider giving back by being sensitive when you swim as to how comfortable you might make those around you. I know its normal for us...but not for them and you might not realize that they feel like you are skinny dipping in front of them and their wives and children. Try to wear a swim shirt to be more culturally appropriate. I am not meaning to be rude or just complain...just was thinking about how I'd feel if I grew up with my husband's background seeing someone else dressed like that in Pakistan in a public recreational area that is for families. I am also hoping that you would display the West in a positive light to those whose understanding is different.
