What drew my attention to VSU was its stunning landscape, which is truly spellbinding in its breathtaking beauty. Apart from its academic excellence in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, I was truly amazed by the beauty of VSU, which was also one of the key factors in my decision to choose this university. It truly lives up to its nickname, "The Very Scenic University," standing out among all the schools I applied to and received acceptances from. The beauty of VSU can truly be a source of relaxation despite the academic stress the school that had given to us. But there can be beauty within chaos, just like the Mount Pangasugan that is particularly mesmerizing, offering a feel that might transport you beyond the Philippines, and there are many more relaxation area within the campus! Choosing VSU has undoubtedly been one of the best decisions I've ever made. It has led me to incredible friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Choosing to attend VSU was a natural decision from my childhood, inspired by my family's connection and the allure of being a Visayan student. Since my first year of high school, being part of the VSU community has been a joy, growing up alongside my peers. Although I briefly considered exploring other universities for a change, practical limitations led me to continue at VSU. College unfolded with surprises, introducing me to new experiences and people. Failing to secure my first-choice course, I embraced an unconsidered option and now feel a sense of belonging. While I can't definitively say it's the perfect fit, I cherish the valuable experiences this unexpected journey has provided.

Ever since I was a child, I have always heard of VSU's outstanding accomplishments. That prompted me to finish my secondary, currently tertiary, studies within its magnificent landscape, and I do not regret it. I only discovered VSU through my ate's friend studying here. She told me how students here excel academically. There are many intelligent students enrolled at VSU and the credibility of the faculty members is beyond what is expected. That's what inspired me to become one of the proud viscans. After my sister graduated from this university, I became fascinated with VSU because of the stories she told me while she was a student and even during her breaks. For a long time, I've been eager to join the institution, and now my obsession has come true! Choosing Visayas State University (VSU) is one of the best decision I have ever made. To be in this university is one of my biggest dreams back when I was just a high school student. Back then, it was introduced to me by a friend since I am still searching for a college university at that time. When I came to get to know deeper about the school, I fell in love with its standards, places, sceneries, and everything to the point that I can imagine myself walking in its corridors, pathways, grasslands, or everywhere. I could also imagine myself in this university as part of my journey to success. In God's grace, I was qualified. It has always been a milestone for me. When I took the entrance exam in Visca, I was allured by its view and the school’s uniqueness. The fact that it’s a university between a mountain and the sea makes it unique. Its stunning beach and mountain views made it known as the scenic university. Visayas State University is a very competitive institution. They offer a lively campus life in addition to a solid academic reputation and a variety of programs. My parents believe they have nice training for students there, and I also agree. The fact that it offers a high-quality education with free tuition means that it’s a worthwhile school. Considering that it’s just near my hometown, Hilongos, is also one of the reasons why I chose VSU. I wanted to have a different environment for my school life. Even if you’re stressed with the exams or schoolwork, you can always stroll for a walk at the different places at VSU, including the beach, Japanese garden, and eco-park. Whenever you have a vacant, you can always take a drive around VSU.

My mother used to say, "awa nak, ang biska, anha ko nagskwela sa una”, whenever we pass by the university. From then on, I have always thought about this university and I will always glance at it and enjoy the scenery every chance that I get. I chose VSU, in part, because of my mother - the life lessons she shared with me have been valuable and helpful. Now that I'm a student at VSU, I can say that the campus is great not just for its breathtaking scenery but also for its academic offerings and welcoming community.

Aside from being conveniently near to my hometown, I chose to be in VSU because of all the great things I've heard from its reputation and all the alumnis from then school that I know. Being here now, I can say it was all worth the hassle of being away from the family. Whenever I go out of the classroom or the library from studying, the scenes from Mt. Pangasugan to the Camotes Sea is such a relaxing breather for me. I hope this university continues to grow and I hope to witness it my time here ❤

VSU is definitely one of the best universities in Leyte! Its rich scenery and great natural environment is truly appealing to all. I also love the fact that the school has lots of facilities for research or even just for normal student use. The university also has many benefits for students such as the free wifi, free check-ups at the vsu infirmary and as mentioned before, the complete scientific facilities. The staff are also highly qualified and are very nice in general. Overall this school is really great and is among the top universities of the Philippines!

VSU has always been my dream university. I remember being toured around the campus by my uncle when I was still in grade 8 (I still have a picture of me in the ecopark), and I was just being in awe of everything. I had always been a lover of nature, and I loved how the campus was surrounded by nature. Ever since then, I have been quietly manifesting for me to pass the entrance exams and get to study in VSU. And now, here I am! Also, a big part of why I wanted to study here was how this was the alma mater of many of my relatives. They always took pride on how nice the training in VSU is. Fun fact, my grandparents met here in VSU as they studied college. VSU was the catalyst of how they ended up together, and how I am existing here today. I loved listening to their love stories, and who knows? I might just meet mine here someday (hehe).

During my high school years, I never knew about VSU at all not until college application starts. I was in awe of its vibrant nature vibe, a home for people coming from provinces. Why Visayas State University among all the universities is a top-tier? Aside of it being a beautiful educational campus, VSU is highly competitive, a leading global university in agriculture and the only one that offers Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Visayas. The education system indulges in practical learning for honing students skills ready for the next step of the way. I already chose VSU ever since I went here to see my Uncle, who was graduating at that time, and I know I will become a viscan since my mother, sister, and other family members are proud viscous. Even though I was exhausted walking around the big campus as a little girl I enjoyed the view and experience and I loved how clean and fresh the air and place were and how quiet it was. Most importantly, my family, especially my mother who's a teacher, values how a school/university prioritizes their high-quality teachings and efforts and provides intellectual educators so students can learn effectively for their future, that is why I am here.

Growing up near VSU, I used to think of it as more of a tourist hotspot than an academic institution. However, as time passed, I realized it's actually both-a thriving educational institution and a place that draws visitors. Living practically in its shadow, I've been part of the VSU community since junior high school, witnessing its numerous accomplishments over the years. VSU has always been my dream school since I was a child. And until now, I am still mesmerized by its beauty and the bright opportunities it offers now that I am already a Viscan. No matter how many schools I have applied to before, VSU was truly my top choice. I didn't even know VSU existed until I was in 12th grade when my relatives in Leyte told me about the school. I live pretty far from Leyte so I didn't really think much of the recommendation. When it was time for university applications, I was too lazy to apply so I only submitted applications to two schools. I didn't wanna stay in my hometown because I thought that I would get tired of seeing the same place for two decades. And that's how my laziness led me to VSU. It's been fun though. The people are awesome and so are the flora and fauna. Walking around and experiencing the mountain breeze while staring at the beautiful plants and animals never gets old.

One of the things that drew me to VSU is its location and scenery. Nindot iya mga view, daghan kay ma lantaw, unya sa iya ka dako kay mura na siya ug iya own barangay. You can see the vast mountain as well as the Camotes sea, as well as daghan pa nga scenic places. Nature calms me and if it does for you too, VSU is a great place especially when stress na kaayo ka sa acads and need nmo ug makapa happy nga environment/scenery.

I initially didn't plan on studying in VSU, even after passing the VSU-CAT but because of some unprecedented news, my family came to the decision that VSU would be the best place for me to study. What first caught my eye was the absolutely gorgeous scenery this school offers. Then the instructors and staff. I feel so honored to be taught by people of such high status. These people have PhDs, are scholars, have discoved things, have achieved so much. I feel so small compared to them yet feel so inspired that i one day could reach such a status. VSU also focuses on getting their students immersed in their course. As a first year BS Biology student have done tree planting, animal dissections, handled carcinogenic chemicals, travelled, practiced the opening to the intrams in both the hot sun and in the rain all in the the first semester. Such an experience it has been and i look forward to more.

A scenic university indeed! Chosing VSU is my best decision so far. Why? because I personally believe that the advance program of VSU will mold me into becoming a successful Veterinarian someday. Studying here in VSU may sometimes be challenging specially after the term exams but the scenery of the university's ecopark is really relaxing and calming. My sister graduated here, I like the stories she tells me on her break, My hyper fixation on VSU started from those. I've been looking forward to be a part of the institution for a long while, and boy that hyper fixation came true! I am now a VSU freshmen studying engineering experiencing the Viscan life of sudden downpour of rain and painful rays of sun, the fast paced learning environment of a globally competitive university while enjoying the environment and scenery no other university could outpast.

VSU caught my attention when someone mentioned to me that it was among the top universities in the country, and there I considered it to be my college school aside from it being in the province next to mine. It was also the only school my overprotective family allowed me to study at as it was really hours travel from ours. And during college application season, I don't know what has gotten into me because VSU was the only school I applied for. So during the release of the list of passers, I was so happy that I was among them that's why I enrolled. It was a great decision, of course, because the school really didn't disappoint with its quality education, and its beautiful and therapeutic sceneries. And now, I am a #ProudViscan!

I am not originally planning to go to Visayas State University and I also don't have a dream University as I am the type of person that goes where life would take me but goes all out when I want something. A friend of my mother introduced me to this University as they heard that I would like to Pursue a Veterinary School and according to them VSU is the best if not one of the best Universities for Veterinarians to go to. Realizing all the benefits I tried hard to pass the College Admission Test and help alleviate and reduce the financial burden on my mother's shoulders Thanks to VSU having a free tuition for every passer of the Admission Test. Day by day I started to appreciate the beauty and the surroundings of VSU that cannot be found in Cities such as The Beach, The Hydro and reduced Smoke and Air Pollution to Trees surrounding the University leading to a more healthy environment for a student to shape himself/herself.

Since the admission period in different schools started, I already chose VSU to be my university for college if given a chance to be admitted. Looking back, t'was like every day I searched for videos of campus tour in VSU and not gonna lie, this is one of the best videos that provided me a walkthrough to the University, allowing me to have a greater picture of what the school looks like. Funny to think that even though there are also prestigious schools there in Mindanao, my heart still says VSU. Studying in a school with a calm ambience and a scenic environment made me want to study here for my college degree.

My mom is an alumnus to this very scenic university, technically, I've been touring VSU since I was a child and it became my dream university. However, it never occured to me that one day I'll be studying in this university. Passing the VSU-CAT is one of the highlighted parts of my life. And now that I am a student in this university, all I can say is VSU trully is the best university. From its scenery up to its education system, VSU never disappoints. Honestly, it never really occurred to me that one day I would be studying here since it's quite far from my place. It all started when our teacher told us to try for the VSU-CAT,and luckily I passed. So I did my research to find out more about the university, and I was amazed at how beautiful this university is. It really lived up to its name, the Very Scenic University. I originally did not plan to even take the entrance exam to VSU, but upon researching about it after my friends mentioned applying there, I quickly applied for the entrance exam as well. Now that I’m a full-fledged Viscan here, I can truly say that I did not regret my choice. The stressors of school life are quickly forgotten because of the beautiful scenery, great teachers, and friendly people. The university perfectly balances human activity, biodiversity, and the environment.

I have been a student at VSU since kindergarten. It is a globally competitive university since it gives you the necessary high-quality education that you need. The scenery at VSU is one of the things that brought me in; it offers almost everything. At first, I didn't expect to passed the entrance exam here in VSU. All of my friends said VSU is their dream school which motivated me to study here in VSU, i'm indeed lucky. Choosing VSU is a great decision i've ever made. Aside of being The Very Scenic University, the natural biodiversity surrounded the university, the breath taking view of mt. Pangasugan, the eye capturing sunsets, and other that vsu may offer to all, but also the high quality education, learnings and opportunity that vsu can provide and give to students out there. VSU can be defined as indescrible for the reason that the place filled me with not only precious memories but also hurtful ones as regrets and happiness from satisfaction as every struggling semesters passes by, i am faced with the thought that the campus is growing with me, as how i am growing to be influenced by not only the people but also the environment. The campus can shape you not only as a student but also as a person. The reason why i chose the campus was an accident, as my Mother only forced me to learn here, and i can proudly say that, that was the greatest mistake ive made as i have and will never regret ever having to learn here.

Ever since I was a kid, I've always been in VSU, going to elementary up until now in senior high school, the one reason on why VSU is it is a comfortable place for learning, top notch courses, stunning surroundings and outgoing people. Even though sometimes it becomes exhausting, I'd still choose VSU.

To be completely honest VSU was never my first choice nor was it my dream university, but i was lucky enough to pass and be able to study in such a great university. In just a few months I was able to love and appreciate the university, waking up in the morning to something completely different from what I woke up to before at home gives me a since of excitement and at the same time homesickness. The university is where I learned how to be independent, from making my own breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to budgeting my allowance. The university is not only scenic but it also offers a lot of programs that you wish to pursue. The teaching is great, I was able to understand my lessons even on the subjects that I had hard time before. Choosing VSU wasn’t my plan but I have learned that it was my best choice to do so.

The moment I chose Vsu, I already knew my life would be totally different. Because honestly I never imagined myself knowing VSU was just introduced to me by my friend and I was shocked because I did not know anything about VSU and choosing VSU was really unpredictable. I never imagined myself studying this far away from home, but here I am one of those we call ourselves a #ProudViscan. As we finished our first semester here, Choosing VSU was not a waste because here I have learned a lot, met new people who became my friends and also learned to be an independent growing woman. This may not be from what I have planned, but going through the path was also worth it.

Since I was in High School, I can't see my College life in the other university but only in VSU. Additionally, this Univ. is known for its standard in tertiary education specially in the course that I really like which is the Veterinary Medicine. Its scenic view is also the reason why I chose VSU. Living afar from my family is very challenging yet satisfying.

Visayas State University is a highly competitive and most beautiful educational campus in the Philippines. I chose VSU because it provides the veterinary medicine program I like to pursue, and I consider it a great privilege to have been able to attend to it since high school. In addition to being a highly competitive university, its beautiful surroundings will undoubtedly help you unwind after all of your academic stress. If VSU offers a better education, a beautiful campus, and is more easily accessible, why would I choose to attend another university? Being able to live close by and pursue my studies in VSU is already a great blessing for me.

I honestly never thought that I would continue my academic journey at VSU until I was convinced by my high school classmates and friends. It wasn't initially planned in the case of my father's decision, but to me, it sounds really promising. So I browsed briefly about the school and discussed about it with my father until he accepts and agreed my choice. He was further convinced from the fact of VSU's good reputation and by how his former classmates, friends, and even relatives succeeded from the prestigious university. I chose VSU because I want to immerse myself in experiencing how it is like to be independent. And I want to see how I shape after years until I'm done in VSU, hopefully.

When I was in High School I already dream to part of the viscan. The student from VSU once visit our place maybe because they have a project to do. And when I visit the VSU I'm amazed how beautiful the scenic is that's why I promised to myself that someday I will become a viscan.

When I was young my father always talk the beauty of VSU because he is also a proud viscan when he was in high school but then due to financial problem he can't proceed in college. So he encourage me to take his path instead and I can tell now that my father did not lie to me. I will never regret my decision in enrolling this university.

I initially aimed to study at VSU as it's my dream school, despite passing the admission test. However, I was hesitant due to my parents' reservations about the chosen course. Nevertheless, what ultimately drew me in was the enchanting nature and scenery. I believed that, even during stressful academic times, I could find solace by looking outside, taking a deep breath, and resetting. Nature calms my mind, and I hope other Viscans feel the same way.

Considering the topographic location of Visayas State University and how near the prestigious university is to our home, I couldn't be more thrilled to enroll in this university. Hearing positive comments from those who graduated from VSU propelled my decision to pursue College here. Consequently, it is no doubt that it offers programs that are efficient and an effective educational system. Consequently, it is globally known that VSU is a picturesque school that is deemed the most beautiful school because it is situated between the mountains and sea which will truly mesmerize and destress students after a long day.

VSU is really a Very Scenic University, pero at the same time Very Sakaon University😅. I actually heard of the university when researching on the schools that offer the Veterinary Medicine Program, since it is my top choice program I wish to take for college. There were many other colleges to choose from, but VSU really became my top choice once I found out that not only it offers high end education but is also just within Eastern Visayas. I naturally got excited as I saw te environment the school has, you can truly experience a fresh new start with your freshman life.

Way back, I didn't really thought about studying in VSU though it's already a known University because I always dreamt of studying at ATENEO de Manila University. But as time goes by, things changed. I was already aware of the reality about college life as well as its financial aspect and ATENEO de Manila is way too far from our pockets. When VSU opened its admission I was encouraged to try applying and it was not that easy, I faced some hindrances that lead made me become hopeless but God really makes a way and I was able to successfully study at VSU. From there, I realized that maybe I am really meant for VSU and now I'm living in it. I found a home at VSU not just of its second name "Very Scenic University" but of its " Viable Stories Untold."

VSU wasn't my actual first choice for college. It was just the last school year of senior high school that I decided to try and apply because of their outstanding College of Veterinary Medicine, which I have always dreamed about ever since first grade. As time passed while the VSU CATs were ongoing, my love and eagerness to be accepted into VSU grew more and more. From its beautiful sceneries between the mountain and the sea to its talk of the town reputation, I wanted to be a part of it, I wanted to be a viscan. Now that I am a viscan, though the walks just to attend classes are very tiring, I am happy with my choice and grateful to experience my so-awaited college life chapter here at VSU-Main Campus.

I chose VSU because it was one of the very few universities that offers my dream course, BSABE. Not only is it the closest to my hometown, but VSU is also a competitive university in agriculture research and technology. Due to my confidence in this university, it was one of only two universities I applied to, the other being UPLB. Unfortunately, I didn't qualify for the UPCA. However, I never doubted my decision to study here for a second. Based on my experience so far, I haven't been disappointed

I choose to study in VSU simply because it's the only school here in Region 8 that offers my desired course ( DVM ), but beyond that , I heard lots of good things about VSU in terms of the quality of education and it's very scenic view which motivates me to take the VSUCat seriously so that I can experience how it feels to be a viscan.
