Dorman Dorisman actually is Dorman Borisman, a rather busy actor it would seem. Specializing in playing people of Batak ethnicity (despite being wholly Javanese), he's done horror, comedy, drama, soap opera and an Indonesian parody of 600 Million Dollar Man. Probably going to actually try watching that last one.

Woooow, it straight up has "girl in canoe on lake about to be grabbed by corpse from behind". If I hear a "chichichi, ah-ah-ah" or see someone get an arrow shoved through their neck from under a bed I'm calling a lawyer.

Altered Beast was the shit back in the day. I plugged many a quarter into that machine.

If they had went with Idea of Jason as a survivor of the drowned village and supernatural guardian of sorts to that village , would have been a cool idea. Well tbh finding idols and stuff in Lake's isnt that that odd cause some lakes used to be villages which used to have local temples. And if they were relocated for either building a dam or Backwater canals , the stuff mostly left behind would be underwater.

Only Tata I know is the car company based in Mumbai. They had a massive and legendary failure with their version of the People's car. But I doubt that's what was referenced in the movie. Also, thankfully not old enough to remember the huge design flaw with the Ford Pinto. But do remember how decades later, it was revealed Ford Execs. knew of the issue but decided it was cheaper paying out settlements to surviving family members than it was to issue a recall; and retro-fit those fuel tanks to correct the issue. One of a couple of reasons I will *never* buy another Ford ever again.

Friday the 13th: The Search for Jason's Gold

The NES game of Friday the 13th had Jason done up in colors that really didn't reflect his actual appearance in the movies, however there was this variant poster we had in the U.S. that had him in those colors, provided you weren't seeing it with the red and blue 3D glasses. The third movie, the 3D one. When the game designers were trying to model Jason, they had a mostly complete picture to work off of, but it was the one with the wrong colors. I bring this up because it is amusing to see other countries try to adapt things like Friday the 13th, as we saw here, especially when there is either a huge language barrier or an incomplete understanding of the film or series. Seriously, imagine if she were to try to decapitate the not Pamela Vorhees character with a boat oar instead of the machete because they didn't notice what the girl had and so tried to reproduce that here? I know those were all motor boats earlier in the film, but if they were trying to make a faithful recreation of the ending of the first movie, that would be hilarious. As for the title being Wolf, perhaps it is more of a code name. Not actually referencing a Wolf, but like when you refer to people as cayote on reference to, I want to say border jumping, was it? Does mean the animal, yes, but has connotations that they would get that doesn't make sense here. Or hell, maybe it's a big bad wolf reference since she does kinda break into houses and tents.

I've never come across an Indonesian horror flick before but they do make some superb full throttle action movies like The Raid,The Raid 2 and Against Us The Night.

3:05 - 3:10 Horrible jokes like that make me glad I'm subbed to this channel. This really feels like two completely different movies just shoved together. 11:37 - 11:40 That's the least convincing "shadow kill" I've ever seen. She just gets lightly booped by the plastic prop. The killer even kind of looks like Ms. Voorhees. She definitely has that slasher movie killer strength, because she catapulted that one body through the window.

If you wanna see Indian Ripoff that has zombies in it while also having the same stuff as the original check out Hell’s Ground cause it is a Texas Chainsaw Massacre Ripoff that has kids in a van, the hitchhiker, the cook, and the masked killer plus zombies for some reason.

So many tatas lol. Long ago, my uncle brought several Indonesian video tapes. I still remember in a scene in one of them, where a girl asked a shaman to break curse or something, and the shaman told the girl to eat maggots crawling on the shaman's open wound. And she ate them while the shaman was laughing. Pretty gore. Years later that I found out that traditionally maggots were used to heal wound. And that maggots are edible. So, old Indonesian movies were very scientific LoL

My father had a tan 1976 Pinto. Oh, those were the days. There are so many Indonesian and Filipino horror/sci-fi movies that are true hidden gems. A longtime friend of mine who loves rare hard to find horror films showed one to me that was off the charts. Part witchcraft, magic and horror. I wish I could remember the title.

All those motorboats racing around while people were diving I was starting to think the ending of Friday the 13th Part 6....or I Spit On Your Grave. There's a Bollywood version of Friday the 13th. That also takes a long time to get there but sticks with the Mom/dead son motif instead of a gold digging wife.
