Looking at the history of this battle is crazy.. I think they did a good job putting you in a more realistic environment. 2004 was not that long ago. Imagining what this would have been like in real life makes this carry some weight.

While clearing a house, a squad from Staff Sergeant Bellavia’s platoon became trapped within a room by intense enemy fire coming from a fortified position under the stairs leading to the second floor. Recognizing the immediate severity of the situation, and with disregard for his own safety, Staff Sergeant Bellavia retrieved an automatic weapon and entered the doorway of the house to engage the insurgents. With enemy rounds impacting around him, Staff Sergeant Bellavia fired at the enemy position at a cyclic rate, providing covering fire that allowed the squad to break contact and exit the house. The answer for how are they still alive is because a few of them were high when they fought the Marines. We were taught to shoot for the socket where the leg connects to the torso. It wouldn’t kill but it would hinder their movement for a kill shot.

I think that the most impressive part of Tomos play is the call outs. Communication wins battles. Team commentary is the key to most successful 'adventures'. Not too much verbalisation, short concise and directed to affected parties. Never hurts to be a gobby git in a firefight. Teamwork makes the dream work, et al. UBIQUE.
