extra padding can't protect you from stupidity, there's a study done showing that bare knuckle boxing has less bone fractures than both boxing with MMA style gloves and typical big boxing gloves........ Honestly im just surprised at some of these rings. I understand the "backyard" brawl type. But half of these are just waiting for someone to land on concrete or a rock. At least regulate it. compacted sand. Mats, pads on the fence. literally anything. Its not that difficult and is cheap. Someone is going to die and then it all ends. Does not mean signing a waver is enough to protect your organization. Just put down mats or a truckload of sand. It's cheaper and more effective. As a practitioner myself, I'm cool with the style. Not cool with the piss poor regulations. Do better.
