I can feel the air, the different temperatures, the hardness of the ice, cold water running underneath, I can smell the aging inside of the house, the sharp sounds of the skates, how the moisture in the air hangs, the weight of the snow, the presence of people not seen, tranquility not fully appreciated, how a life would be lived in this small village. That's how good you are.

The pronounciation was quite good. That being said, his last name comes from the name of a bird, the Cuckoo in English. It's a very nice drawing. Good inspiration as well. Hope you're having a nice day.

Wow….. I draw in pen and ink.. I have several drawings that have taken from 25 hrs to over 100. Your absolutely right , You do beautiful work.. I really like your contrast and subtle shading.. wow.. Just love it.

Sir, you are a magician. In place of the 'magic wand' you use use different materials to create 'artistic magic'. This particular sketch is baffling. Sir, your art works need a very special place to be displayed in any of the top art galleries. I can only pray God to grant you long, healthy life to continue your service in art world.

Jon what can I say you have surpassed yourself , I am waiting to do this one,I can’t start it for another couple of months I don’t think, but if it the only other drawing I do this year apart from what I’m committed to for other people this one is going to be for me. I know it will be deeply challenging but I’m aware that I need to be stretched now beyond my comfort zone. @Smoothie77 Drawing & Painting haven't really done many completed drawings for a long time my right hand has bad arthritis in it and it's not doing the things i want it to be able to do. But of late I've bought an A2 drawing board to try get back into the swing of things! Glad your enjoying the pencils and thanks for everything you ever did for me to help out when things got tough. Jon, when I do small things they don't stay as "clean" as yours seem to. I wonder if my Strathmore medium surface 400 series paper might be the difference I see from your "small items? Are you using a smooth surface paper?
