I would really love for movie makers to stop portraying Eastern Countries in this cold/blueish filter. Romania is not a cold/dark country but one of the most beautiful there is, trust me. It's extremely colorful due to the rich and vast vegetation and amazing architecture. Just wanted to point that out.

As a citizen from a country located in Eastern Europe, I understand the need to reach out for something that can offer you existence, that can offer you a chance to become something bigger, something better than the miserable citizen you are. No one wants to be born in terrible, underdeveloped and corrupted country, but some of us have to live that life. It is hard and envious to know that the person who is working the same job as you do, earns much more than you, is more respected and simply, had a higher start than you. And that's just because he was born in more developed country than yours. So please, do not judge hackers from countries like this. We know what hunger is, what pain is, what does it mean to know that whatever you do, you won't be able to reach the financial and professional status compared to someone from a "better" country, a better region. This doesn't justify what they do, but it merely describes why they do it. It's easy to judge someone when you know nothing about them. Also, I apologize for my bad English. It isn't my native language.

As a matter of fact, none of the notorious hackers in this video are from Vâlcea. Iceman is from Cluj, Guccifer is from Arad and Tonkode is from Turnu Severin.

Even though I don't live there anymore, I was born in Ramnicu Valcea and spent quite some time there. Gotta give props for this really dark, dystopian atmosphere but I can tell you that it's nothing like that, Rm. Valcea is nothing more than a normal (kinda quiet) mountain town. Quality but HIGHLY exaggerated documentary.

This, for the first time ever, makes me feel proud to be a Romanian!

A few thoughts: 1- Romania is always protrayed as such a grim place, a ghost of communism, full of criminals and people in sad clothes. It's getting boring 2- The hackers. All of them did it for money and curiosity..not for the pure desire of doing bad. Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like they should've been hired by the "good guys" instead of being arrested. 3- I liked it when that guy said that Americans fear hackers like they fear terrorists...that says a lot. This video puts Romania in a bad light (metaphorically, but we're used to that, and literary..WTF is that dark blue lightning!? looks awful) but if you pay more attention you can see that the US are much more f***ed up than us. 4-Also, yes. It's true. Romania has amazing coverage..everywhere (except for the underground parking garages at the malls :/ )

Loads of bull... 3:15, he's no IT Security Specialist, he's a vp of an NGO dealing with politics and financial matters... a quasi-politician. Also I like the dark blue tint... gives of the impression of a dark society full of criminals. Laughable at best... but I know NOrTon's popularity dropped in Ro for being a sub-par company... maybe there's the source of the frustration.

I think that the United States government, and other governments for that matter, need to hire these people to secure their servers. Who would know better about the security of a system, than the guy who found the vulnerability? If we form a team of hackers that is devoted to securing servers, not hacking, we would progress much faster in cyber-security.

How do ebay scams work? Like you put a fake product but when you get the money there's buyer protection. Even if you get it the guy will get his money back from ebay or paypal and the only thing he can do is sue you.

Norton has caused me more bloat and headaches than any hack or worm ever has. Just don't be an idiot and download stupid things and browse wisely. I've never had any issues not running norton or other such software for 10+ years now. There are lightweight virtus and security options out there though that I would recommend over Norton any day.
