Beware of scams like this! This was likely the most disturbing and dangerous scam I've ever seen in Adopt Me, so make sure you know what to do in this situation.

This is so creepy.. If anyone's reading this, Never and I mean NEVER share personal information on Roblox or any other game platform. Be VERY careful if or when you do. I had no clue this was even a scam method, super weird.

I always lie about my name and age to anyone who asks online bc my parents (and me) are worried about things like this. Stay safe everyone! ^^ Also btw thanks for spreading awareness! I think that you can grow your channel very quickly with helpful vids like these!

tysm sore spreading awareness i almost got scammed like that STORY: once i saw this girl and she was like TRADING MEGA SHADOW FOR WHITE HOVERBOARD and this girl she fell for it and i gave her some fr pets to help her because she was extremly sad because she traded like all of her good pets for it and i yelled and spammed in her face and so did others but she didnt listen :(

i keep seeing people try to scam like this :/ someone actually tried to scam me using this method. i plan on making a video about it because it's a pretty awful scam. props to you for helping her out afterwards :)

oh! so basically the scammer will use a technique called "cold reading" to ask you vague questions and try and get you to reveal personal information about yourself. hope that helped :)
