Last July we headed to Oregon for a week long adventure in the desert. From sand dunes, to playas and sketchy shelf roads, we tackled a bit of everything in our new Jeep Gladiator. This is a movie version of a previously released 5 part series, with new scenes and narration.

I cannot believe you guys drove through the crash site. How disrespectful. We did this trip last fall, parked and WALKED into the memorial site. Unbelievable 🤦🏻‍♀️ Obviously not from around here.

Trailer sliding off trail at 41 minutes needed a Bushwinch sand anchor. They work in hard pack ground as well as sand.

I have been to the A6 crash site many times. At the top of the steep hill there is a sign that says no motorized vehicles beyond this point. Unfortunately looks like someone put an A6 sticker over it. You are supposed to walk the rest of the way in. I am seeing lots of KZfaq videos now with people driving all the way in. This will most likely get shutdown due to this. I know you didn’t know I am not blaming you at all just letting you know.

OMG... you had the ram right behind the trailer. all you had to do is get real close to the trailer and the winch would have lifted it in the air and it would have slid to the right with eaz. ive done it with long wheel base trucks that have a tough time cornering trees and rocks.

The video camera does not really give any justice on how steep that road is going down into the canyon on the west side. It actually used to be an old stage coach route. Did you guys even know that one of the best warm springs in North America is right there? That little waterfall just upstream...I have camped out for days on that sandbar where you were swimming and hike up that road to go soak.

In Oregon you can rent firewatch Towers to camp in just get ahold of the forest service and they can give you all the information to rent one

Oregon has so much diverse landscapes and areas. Some of those roads you thought were never travelled have been travelled by every KZfaqr in Oregon and any that have ever said the world overland. Still it’s always an amazing time being there and or seeing it on video. Glad you enjoyed it all!

Mickey Hot Springs left me with 68% burns last September attempting to save the Adventure dog Hope! We were solo and had to self rescue to Fields Station, from there it was life flight to Portland. A story I will share with the offroad community for the remainder of my days........Skull Creek Road is awesome!!!
