In India, a film was made after him "Main aur Charles" which means "Me and Charles". It was a fantastic film that covered all his crimes and jail escapes he committed.

I am a Vietnamese, suprised that my grandmother knew this man, I saw his picture with my grandmother, she was suprised when she saw this video, she said was so shocked that she was still surviving now, she lived in the same neighborhood with him and always heard his scream. The picture was taken when they were having a somethign they call "Welcoming party" for the new neighbors, she never saw him after he moved away, but saw him running sometimes around the neighborhood. "He was good looking and is intelligent" that's what my grandmama said, I was so shocked.

I watched one of his interviews when I was a kid, having no idea who he was. Within the first minute, I was absolutely terrified. My mom had to ask the clerk to shut off the tv, because I wouldn’t stop crying. Just some primal instinct, I guess. Creepy Also, all these comments commemorating him are ridiculous. He was a wretched, tiny, sick individual. He wasn’t smart. He wasn’t charismatic. He was a monster. Even if you don’t believe that, it’s what you have to tell yourself. I hope he gets what’s coming to him. If there’s any justice in this world, Sobhraj will suffer a painful passing. A man like him deserves to be forgotten.
