I was in Vegas for work exactly a week before you and made sure to carve out time for the Bacchanal buffet. Unlike last time when my goal was to try everything, my strategy this time was to start with as much seafood and cuts of beef from the carving station as possible. Had to watch a video beforehand of how to eat crab legs and lobster claws cleanly lol. I wanted to get the crepe but was too full (did try out a bunch of other dessert options, including the gelato station, which were all good). Definitely going back again.

With crab the easiest way to open it without a tool to crack it is a fork! You put a prong on the inside and push up so it cracks it open and then you can peel it :) at least that’s what my family does

I have wondered if you really get to enjoy your food if you are trying as many things as you can. This seemed much more casual in that way (Herbert going back for ribs) but it seems that it would take the joy of eating out of the equation.

I love the variety at some buffets but if they are really expensive I won't go. I can't eat enough to make up for the price. I rarely make a second trip. I hope the wedding planning is going well :)

Back when I started going to Las Vegas in the late 60s some of the best buffets in town were $1.99 and $2.99. Not only that the pit bosses were handing out comps to the buffets to just about everyone.

wow very pricey, if you ever go to the Philippines check out the Spiral buffet, its also really good and has a big selection

Although the place seemed lovely and it was quite an assortment of food I do think that it might have been a little expensive but then again it was Vegas. How disappointing that you could not open the seafood! Did they have the little crackers or what are those things called? That is the worst part of seafood when you are not home. Looks like fun anyway! Happy holidays you guys!

They don't have the lobster cracking thing? I know you can crack them open without it but it seems harder. The food looked good and I love the vibe between you 2, so fun.

I I was just there two weeks ago. truly wished I was there to help y’all open the crab legs. The easiest way is to start from the smallest part and break off from each section (knuckle). Then from there if it’s still in the shell then break the shell in the middle with slight pressure back and forth of the shell. Not to much pressure so it doesn’t break the crab meat. Ughhh I wish I was there lol.

I started bringing my own scissors to seafood buffets because of it.

Just a tip for crap let’s. Use your fork. Stick a prong in and rip a long a side. Like scissors ✂️

its a one time thing for me. food was ok. more eyecandy for instagram. line was hella long, the lady who we paid to get in was hella rude. and they sat us all the way in the back. as far from any food station as you could be. we went strait to the crab n prime rib and got our moneys worth. also the waiter only came around once to refill drinks. it is a nice place and the food stations looked cool. just mid execution on food. honestly rather go find a food truck

If youre still there, the buffet at Wynn I think is the best. I live here and there's so many better food in vegas though! Especially off strip, let me know if you want recommendations.

The buffet look so cool but I could never paid that price for the amount I eat.. I barely eat anything. However, you both eat a good amount so I guess it would be more worth compare to me. :P

Wow, that food looked pretty nice, for the most part, though I'm in agreement with Herbert; crab and stuff just isn't worth it. It's like eating celery; you ultimately put more effort into eating it, or trying to eat it, than you get out of it. Buffets are difficult to maintain, and though that one looks great, I have to agree that it wasn't showstopping. However, it does look like a place where, if you leave and are hungry, it won't be your fault. When it was billed as the most expensive, it does look like it had the most expensive cuts of meat, but you can get meat in most buffets for cheaper, and probably just as tasty.

I went to this buffet earlier this week and I would never go back again. All the food looked really good but the tastes were too extreme for me.. some food were salty especially those crabs/mussels/crawfish.. some drinks are wayyy too sweet.. and some food were straight out bland and dried.. was not impressed at all and don't understand the hype =/

If I went here. I would probably end up in a food coma.
