Im sure being a bmw channel you were expecting a lot of dislikes. But i think its a great move and i totally understand how you were getting bored. I too have the other german marque and think every car enthusiast should experience one or the other or both. At least you didnt buy a front wheel drive german or one or the boring new mercedes models out there. Congrats on your buy and great choice. Hi Nathan Yu cn read my mind very well lm also adding a merc to my bimma life. I hv a question though abt transfailsafe mode. I checked the small actuator and its fine. What do you suggest my next step should be. The car drives up until temperature is at 12’Oclock then slips out or will wait until l stop it then it goes into limp mode. Its a 4.4i v8. Should l rush to replace the gearbox? It has abt 270k km mileage. I hope you will help. Thanks

Nathan, like with the Cayman, you need to establish a new Mercedes channel. Also, the 1600 has become an ‘ Orphan’ since you bought it. It’s crying out for the TLC of a restoration which your subscribers have been waiting for... hope it’s on your radar for the next BMW project!

Very nice, excited for this. As you already know, you can rest easy knowing you don't instantly have to refresh the entire cooling system, do rod bearings, or an oil pan gasket during your 1st wk of used ownership. Not that I don't love bmw, but good God. Merry Christmas!!

Very nice G, Nathan. If I were you I'd just make it simpler and merge your car channels into one and call it Nathans Workshop. If people want knowledge on specific brands or models, they can always use the search function.

We bought a Murano because my wife didn't want me to drive my 3 kids in the back seat in 3 baby carriers on a 2002 540i...I fkn hate the Murano..I only like the radio. The driving experience is way better on the 540i..oh well. Enjoy the benz. I also have an WIP 84 500 sec benz.

No need to apologize not uncommon to have both. I have 2 E39 variants an X5 (E53) and a 530i M Sport both manual transmission btw...and a Mercedes Clk 500. I do have to fight my wife to drive her manual X5 she loves it

G63 is around $80k here not $50k, G550 is $50k

2014 g63 are around 50 to 55k with what mileage I seen one for 52k with 99k on it hey you like that style enjoy it’s a little to boxie for me

@@gamesposter never will I slander BMW but I’m proud of Nathan’s choice and he listened to me. For over a year I been telling him about get a AMG and he wouldn’t then I finally persuaded him and now he don’t regret it. But he has noticed now the difference between the two and AMG is much more fun and more nicer place to be than BMW. That’s why if your loyal to BMW stay there because the moment you drive a new Mercedes or AMG I gurantee you will hate your BMW and never go back as I have told many people and got many people over to the brand.

@@NathansBMWWorkshop glad to hear that! I just bought an 2002 e39 530i off craigslist for $25.00! The guy's wife made him get rid of it because they weren't using it. It sat in the driveway for 6 months. Battery is dead but the guy told me it has 116,000 miles on it and no mechanical problems. The interior is excellent and the leather seats are perfect. The weather stripping on the front and rear windows is crumbling. And the doorsill plastic as well. Back window tint bubbling. No rust anywhere only a tiny dent in rear wheel fender. So far I replaced the two BMW emblems, trunk struts and kidney grills all off Amazon. Very inexpensive. I need to get a battery to get it started to see if it's worth repairing. I had it towed to my house so I don't really know it there's anything wrong. But for 25 dollars I know I could part it out and make some money even if the engine is gone. But I don't think so. Because I believe the guy was telling the truth....he guy is a businessman and his wife a lawyer with two young kids in a very nice home on the water in Sarasota FL. Anyway.....your videos are helping me alot and thanks!
