Right so you’ve been more help to my life more than you could ever imagine. I started detailing at a local dealership. At the time I was inexperienced, and very new to automotive detailing. Fast forward about a year into the job, I discovered you channel. Started watching you for tips and tricks as for the ins and outs. Picked up on some new habits just from watching your work on the daily. Now I’ve been there 4 years, I’m 24 and I’m now the lead of the entire detailing division. All just because I saw what you were doing and I put it into my work. So thanks to you I have now been able to start putting together my own gig to where I can pull away from hourly work and start making an actual living doing what I desire. I own you a beer or my first born, up to you. 😂

Another amazing detail, Mitch! I was surprised at the amount of hidden dirt in those seats. Great advice regarding the bug guts too. Very good of you to do this one on the house for the customer, I bet they appreciated it! You should play “Little Trees Bingo” with him, if you guess the amount in the car correctly beforehand he owes you lunch (& Mike a box of Timbits!) 😂

The reason it was on the house was because he didn’t have a vehicle to wash this week and hence would have been no video. So he reached out to a person who he’s car he washed a few times so that he would have a video for this week

Thanks for doing this one gratis for him. "If you ate today, Thank a Farmer." Did a quick interior clean on my 96 GM truck this morning so, nice to see a complete job. I'm preparing the paint for a respray so no need to spend much time there. I used the new brushes, interior cleaners etc. I received from you earlier last month and while not a detail by any sense of the word, the interior does look a lot better. Yes, the carpets and upolstry are much better quality than my 'Lux' Touareg.

I just did a exterior detail on my 2011 tundra that took me 27 hours!!. That included power washing, foaming, iron remover then rinse, tar remover, rinse, clay bar, foam cannon again, completely wiped down with 50-50 distilled water and alcohol, compounded polished, removed the oils from the polish with 50-50 again then polished the truck cleaning the pads after every 2 foot of polishing, 50-50 again to remove the oils from the polish, then applied a coating!.

Do you have any advice for a mobile detailing company just starting out? I currently work during the week so I schedule details on the weekends but so far it’s been lucrative. Just kinda have to do them as I can. I definitely want to do this in the future.

Question: How do you dry out the fabric after the detail? I imagine the steamer vacuum pulls out most of it, but there’s got to be moisture still in the carpet and seats.

The vehicles are set in a room with a really good dehumidifier for several hours if not overnight. :)

When u are going over the truck with the wash mitt, are u using a bucket of soapy water also or just using the suds that are on the truck from the fiam canon?
