(frequently asked for) mods visible in the video: Neko Lost + Tainted Lost, "The Beast but it's my dad" mod, Specialist Dance, Dogma Brimstone Lasers, Damage Multiplier Stat, and "Regret Pedestals" (this is the one that shows you the blind item you didn't take). AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfying non tainted lost runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point, while I'm late for this upload... I also wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here; plus nobody will read it anyways: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Dunno when, but it'll happen (I've been saying this for months lmao)
fun fact: most of the captions you see on screen are synced up to music beats, its a really dumb thing I started doing recently but it just feels... right? takes a whole lot more effort to caption this way but I can't stop now lol

I think I have an idea as to what happened with stopwatch. From what I can see, blighted dice decides on a pool before picking an item, right? But it doesn't have a check if an item is the only one of its quality in a pool (which is the case with stopwatch). So, it rolled stopwatch into two shop pool items, which defaulted to breakfast since there are no other Q4 shop items.

This makes me think there's a chance that if stopwatch *was* in multiple pools it could still roll into breakfast.

And I feel like Lavencas even mentioned this recently when doing a Tarnished Isaac run re: using birthright to roll shop items to stopwatch specifically BECAUSE it's the only Q4 shop item.

Fun fact: in some rooms of the mausoleum and gehenn, there actually hidden buttons behind the pillars and when pushed, it insta kill all the enemies in the current room. There also buttons that make a bridge for chests and stuff like that.

13:13 fairly certain that because you bought the stopwatch from the shop, it took from the shop item pool. Since the stopwatch is the only Q4 item in the shop pool, it couldn't change into anything else.

8:10 I think the purpose of essence of eden is that it automatically rerolls the glitched items every time you enter a new room. so the devil room was really the worst place to use it, because you wouldn't be able to get back there. If you used in the treasure room for example, then every new room you enter would basically act like a d6 roll (or a dice room 5-pips effect, but only for the treasure room) at least thats what i think it does, idk havent played epiphany

Fun Fact: The "Ghost Fire" or the fire that turns you into The Lost doesn´t make damage when you are The Lost, you can pass through it

theyre in a mod called "Heart Tokens for The Lost" it basically makes hearts into coins so you can use stuff such as blood donation and sacrifice rooms the counter resets every floor

i think how the dice works us that it rolls the item to the poll that you grabed it in, and that's why stopwatch gave you 2 brakfast lmao (since there is no other q4 item in the shop)

How does lavencas do it sometimes in his videos, that items will change between different items? Example: In his video "The PERFECT Start". I am a starter in BOI so this might be a bit nooby question idk

Item Glitched Crown. It's a "beat the Beast with this tainted character" unlock so it has a base mechanic over that same character, and with it being Tainted Isaac, that by default has rolling pedestals on two options, this item makes every pedestal roll between five options (of the same pool). Some items like Flip's ghost item aren't affected and are still one that doesn't roll.

Gotta hand it to these mod makers, they make some of the most interesting ideas of "Tarnished" characters and to build off of that items is more impressive. I'm just curious what the entire set of unlockable tarnished items there are.

Smelting Perfection doesn't really do anything if you're anyone but the Lost. If you take damage, you still drop it. But seeing as how the Lost holds Holy Mantle and dies when taking damage anyways, it doesn't exactly matter.

I think the blighted dice should "eat" items in exchange for charges only on tarnished isaac , kinda defeats the point of playing him if you can have his gimmick on any other character

it's literally allowing you to reroll any passive in a pedestal or in you, besides being able to sacrifice an item (active) for more charges in a reroll where you can choose and then reroll both with other effects. balanced enough for me
