It wasn't THAT bad mate. If only it had a better open world space, it'd be regarded as a great game. Unfortunately, the only place to drive vehicles in the game is the boring green lantern planet, so that's why it's rated low unfortunately

Yeah it would have been cool to have a section of Gotham to explore and drive around but I enjoyed the game for what it was when I was young and the character roster was in my opinion the best out of the Lego Batman games

I don't think Lego Batman 3 is that bad of a game. Although I do think that calling it Lego DC Superheroes, or Lego Justice League, would've made more sense, as it's not just Batman and Robin stopping crime. They're teaming up with fellow Justice League members and even a few of the villains to stop Brainiac.

@austinwalker2000 But that game acted as an introduction to the Justice League into the Lego Batman games. Afterwards, in games like Lego Batman 3 and DC Supervillains, the Justice League were much more prominent in the games' roster and story.

Imo the levels in Lego Batman 3 are a lot more boring than I remembered. At least, the early levels. A lot of moving around and doing the same things over and over and over again. The other Lego games have great level design and fun gameplay for their levels, but Lego Batman 3 is just really boring for me in comparison. On the same level in my opinion as Lego Marvel Superheroes 2.

Same here, Lego Batman 2 is so clunky in level design and you have to have every character unlocked just not to have to replay a level twice to get 100% on it. It's infuriating to play and LB3 streamlines it's features and makes them more usable.

The Story was brilliant the suit switching upgraded, the graphics overhauled but the biggest only real let down was the open world. Look I like Oa but there’s barely anything to do there aside from racing.

So I have all 4 LEGO DC games and been recently grinding them in order despite having a lot more nostalgia for Lego Batman 1 & 2 I actually think 3 is the best so far, I went into it thinking it was going to be awful, but it has a much better character roster, some of the most unique looking levels in any Lego game, and the hub worlds have been thoroughly enjoyable so far so idk agree to disagree I guess

I always loved Lego Batman 3 since it first came out especially when I first completed. It's even my most favorite LEGO game. The extra levels including 66 Batman Levels (RIP Adam West and other cast members), the massive character roster, missions, DLC, and many more to name is what made this game really special to me. You can imagine my surprise when I found out this game was not well liked by many people. I don't think this is a perfect game but it's nice to see that there are people who also enjoy this game.

LEGO Batman 3 has my heart, it's the FIRST ever lego game I played on my FIRST ever gadget, the PSP. I remember it so well, especially the lantern levels, red lantern was SOOO difficult whilst Sinestro if I remember correctly, was a simple rock paper & scissors battle. Oh how I loved Lego batman 3 😊

The vehicle levels in Lego Batman 2 were genuinely fun and a big step up from the first one, so why they went back to the playing style of the first one’s vehicle maps for the third one is beyond me. Between that and the lack of an interconnected open world environment the game really suffered. In all fairness though they redeemed themselves with the gem that followed this one, Lego DC Supervillains.

bdp1 would just skip it by beating the first 3 levels, getting mini characters and using it finding a place in the batcave to glitch under the map (kinda like wasp in lego marvel superheroes 1) and fly to the place behind the bookcase in the trophy room that takes you to level 16 so you can go to level 16 which the game noticing you havent finished the story DECIDES TO UNLOCK THE REMAINING MAINLINE LEVELS

Bro lego batman 3 was one of the 1st few games my dad got for me on my birthday when got my ps4 in christmas so in aqay this game even tho I beat the campagin unlocked every character and dont play it anymore holds alot of nostalgia for me but yk i even had the lego marvel superheroes 2 and avengers which one of em I completed while the other I've still not completed the story

It is more fun to traverse in my opinion, the flight felt very clunky in Lego Batman 2 however the batmobile is so much fun to use

I've 100% the game on PS3 when it first came out, the levels did feels like tasks without Freeplay mode but everything else especially the new aspect of the lantern worlds and the amazing dlc was great
