Chapter 655 or volume 66, then confirmed by oda in the sbs of the volume 67, here's what i could find of the said sbs part : "D: Hello Oda Sensei. In chapter 655 of volume 66 in the scene where everyone is eating deep sea fish bento boxes, Robin says "Delicious," Luffy and Usopp are going "munch munch," but only Zoro is going "crunch crunch." Did Sanji put razor-blades in Zoro's bento, as promised? Penname- Gillette O: hnnnnn.... AMAZING!! Thank you for reading so carefully! I mean, I drew that while thinking that it wouldn't really be that bad if nobody ever noticed, but in chapter 653 of volume 66, we have this scene. There's usually no reason to use a crunchy sound effect when characters are eating bento, but I felt that Sanji would surely put the razors and poison in Zoro's bento, so I decided to draw it in that way. The serious nature of their fight is what makes it interesting." As you can see, it was about a "sound effect", and it might have been forgotten in the anime, but still the manga is showing it, and Oda confirmed it. Also, that's a part of why Zoro didn't got poisoned by fish when he came in wano, but only suffered a stomachache, we know he have a minor resistance to poison, and this might have helped . The entire situation comes from chapter 653 when sanji and zoro are fighting at fishmen island, sanji threatens zoro to not make himself an enemy of the ship's cook, and zoro respond "bring it on, i'll digest anything from poison to razor blades" Also we know that they still respect each other (everytime they get separated and someone else is worrying, the one still here will say something like "don't worry, he's not the kind to die so easily" so it would be logical to think thay sanji only did put blades and poison in zoro's food because he knew he'd survive.

The art direction is exremely unique and it really makes me want like a One Piece Visions like Star Wars Visions where we don't even need Luffy as the main character but have like different animation teams/styles giving original worlds, stories and characters that can really expand the world of One Piece

31:35-31:45 Thing is Lily Carnation needed to eat people in order to keep Baron’s crew “alive”. That’s why they would get all shriveled up. It’s cause Lily hadn’t eaten anyone. And it would also explain how they “got better” again after Lily consumed the Straw Hats.

Seriously amazing that we got Mamoru Hosoda to direct a One Piece movie and that it turned out to be THIS good. Like fr, it's not just a good One Piece movie, it can stand on its own as a great story, I have friends that got into One Piece BECAUSE of this movie. Not to mention the amazing art style that I could look at until I die.

Welcome to reality where people are dumb enough to believe Nami is a dictator who hits Luffy and others for real even in the anime and that one piece promots toxic friendship. Yeah there are people who actually believe that due to the recent polemic around Nami's gag. I sincerely pity people who can't realize the difference between Nami hitting for real (the slap she gave to usopp in this movie or the one she gave to Sanji on whole cake) and the rest (the huge majority) of scenes that are done purely for gag.

Big Mom's an Anti-Villain, her dream is sweet and innocent and wholesome AF, but she will do ANYTHING to make it happen. tbh i look at her and i think "what if Luffy had no-one to look up to and was abandoned like she was? would he be much different?" ngl, i cant give a clear answer, it's similar to the whole Gaara and Naruto situation lowkey.

I am currently obsessed with this movie and I'm so glad you like it too. I watched it with my sister (who will not admit that she likes One Piece) and I didn't tell her anything about the plot so she was very surprised by the darkness of it. Something that I love about this movie is how they're torn apart by the faults in their personality. Robin's hunger for learning causes her to leave them behind without thinking of what might happen while she's gone. Nami's past issues with trust makes her believe that Usopp abandoned her. Usopp feels as though Nami is accusing him of being cowardly and flaking out on her. But those two have always been the "cowardly" ones, so he doesn't get why he would insult her for something they have in common. That's why he snapped in a way that's so out of character for him. Sanji and Zoro are unable to work together because their personalities are just so different. This is shown in how they approach the ring toss challenge: Sanji is more laid back and just watches while Zoro tries doing all the intense stuff. But their personalities are also very similar in some ways which is reflected by how they keep constantly bumping into each other while trying to reach the same goal. Eventually this leads to Sanji taking a hit because of their horrible cooperation and blaming it on Zoro. Him denying Zoro the right to eat his food is one of the most unsettling things about this movie, and the fact that Zoro was so blinded by his frustration to realize that this was so out of character for Sanji is kind of crazy to me. It's hard to pinpoint for Chopper. One of his main flaws is how easy he is to manipulate. He was the first one to be shot by Omatsuri because he became too careless. The movie uses one of Luffy's strongest characteristic against him which makes it really impactful for me. Luffy was the last one to really be affected by everything going on because he is so optimistic that everything will turn out okay. So to make this as heart-wrenching as possible, first, they have Sanji pin the blame on him. This immediately disheartens him in a way we've never seen before because it's pretty true. Luffy failed to think about the safety of his crew and continuously jumped into the ordeals thinking they would be a fun game. His carelessness caused this. Then everyone goes their seperate ways, leaving him by himself. This is literally his greatest fear. Being alone. Then the movie absolutely slams him on his face over and over again to slowly destroy every ounce of light left in him to the point where he was ready to accept death at the hands of Omatsuri. Or maybe I'm just a glazer idk

It's always fun to remember the director and animation team also did the first "Digimon Movie" (in America anyway) and Summer War made this fantastic looking movie. I mean: i have my bias for Fim Z and Stampede for being great looking films, but this! This is talented people putting their ALL into it! The facial expressions, the lighting, the action and locals! Such masterpieces that are eye candy! And the story is so good on top of all that: like a mini Saobody without a truly sad outcome. Lord this movie is amazing!

The video notification came, I saw that I had not watched the movie, I almost went and watched it, I cried in a few scenes of the crew's and Luffy's relationship, but it was a really scary movie, to be honest, everyone is used to Sanji and Zoro arguing, but in the food incident, Sanji cooks for everyone without discrimination, but he said to Zoro, you can't eat it. It surprised me, Usoop and Nami were also very upset. Also, why does Luffy always have crew problems? 😢(Isn't Sanji's outfit in the boat scenes similar to the one Eren wore in the first season)
