Hi there! My name is Lily Hevesh, also known as “Hevesh5.” As a Domino Artist, I design, build, and topple thousands of dominoes to create beautifully intricate chain reactions. I’ve been fortunate to be able to create Domino Art full-time, and do commercial projects for Hollywood films, TV shows, and events. I’m consistently impressed with the clever use of timing in your designs. By timing I mean that there is a line of dominoes leading to the next big section that runs in the “background” just long enough to enjoy the currently falling big section. It’s not just dominoes falling, it’s designed to be enjoyed. And it is enjoyable!

thank you! I call those "timing lines" so that you still have time to view the main project before another section falls. it's something I think about constantly as I am building, and have to actively plan for during the setup. exactly - designed to be enjoyed! a more advanced part of building is really thinking about how people will experience watching it, and I find that a fun challenge too :)

I really enjoyed the juxtaposition of abstract modern art with the classical Mozart in the background. I really like how you explored the concept of a domino line- even though there were no fancy tricks or structures or any variation in height, the art was effective and beautiful.

It’s a start for trying to recreate the Bigweld mural, maybe next video you should try using a variety of black dominoes with white pips to get a feel for the shading.

Wow, that was such a relaxing and phenomenal topple. I was really impressed to see you can use illusions of colours and patterns to make such a colourful and wonderful masterpiece. Also I really like the way you can use with just domino lines, it dont have to be just an ordinary line for connections but to make it more interesting with splits, spirals and diamonds made out of lines. That was so inspiring me to have great ideas with a domino abstract art. It looks like a picture full of arts and illusions. The music you used was completely connective to this art. Really satisfying. Good job, Lily! Keep on building! 😄

I can't afford Domino tiles so I collect match boxes and make Dominos from them. I currently have 200 matchboxes.

I love these videos, so mesmerizing! You have a true, unique talent. The only thing I would suggest in the videos is to eliminate the back ground music or, slow it down to make it more relaxed. The music was a huge distraction when watching your domino creations! ❤️
