Reese had 18 and 11 the only time they played. Don't know who guarded Reese. Aces are hot and Sky are not. You keep comparing elite grown a*s women to rookies. I think she is really struggling right now on the offensive end. Her teammates need to be real good for this to be a game. I think this double double all in, has seriously derailed the Sky's year. Weatherspoon has put her job on the line for that.

This has to be your worst take. I know you do a lot of videos, which is commendable, but this take is really bad. Let me get this straight. To be considered for ROY, the Sky have to beat the back to back Champs. The champs also have the best player in the league that also plays AR position. If AR as a rookie, cannot hold the best player in the league to 20 points or less and win, Wilson averages 28, then AR is not the ROY in your opinion. But when the Fever played the Aces, the Fever got blown off the floor. CC got absolutely cooked by Plume (ironically you rank CC ahead of Plume) but somehow that does not affect CC's ROY chances? What am I missing????

I think the way I've heard it best put is that Angel Reese is a great role player, Caitlin Clark is a great multi-role player, orchestrator and leader, I don't even think they're comparable and for me ROTY goes to the type of player that CC is and how good she is at it, plus the level that she's elevated the team from their performance last year; she's transformed the energy and interoperability of her teammates with a new and far more effective system. If CC doesn't win, we need to make a fan award for her and pool funds to get her a really nice trophy; heck, we should do it anyway! :)

Mick at this point is living to die to see Angel not win or be rookie of the year. But what he fails to realize is what makes Angel famous and loved. She has personality, pizazz, an aura which attracts people to her. If it makes you feel better Caitlin cannot only just win “Roty” she can have it wrapped with a bow. +15 ???? The +/- stat is unreliable as all hell. You could literally play for 30 minutes , through 3 quarters, and go 20/20 for 50 points , while your teammates go for 0/30 for 0 points, with the game tied at 50, and then sit out the entire 4th quarter while your teammates get red hot and outscore the opponent by 15… And at the end of the game after you win 80-65 your teammates will all have 3/10 stat lines, for 6-8 points each While you sit at 20/20 for 50 points But your teammates +/- would be +15 and yours would be -15. +/- appropriate like in situations where Sides moves Clark to 2G spot, brings in Wheeler, takes out Mitchell, and asks Clark to be good in a slow it down offense. In that scenario, sure, watch the +/- for that specific period. But as far as just looking at the box score as if it means anything ??? Naw.

She is awkward and uncoordinated. She can box out well and tip the ball up uncontrollably. She can’t jump. She’s predictable and obvious. Anytime she scores 14 or more you have to wonder how trash is the defense. Add to that the most trash attitude I’ve ever seen on a court. If I had to guard her I’d either block, push her out of the paint, or pull the chair on her and let her fall (old Rick mahorn trick). It would be impossible for her to score 20 on me, and she’s taller and longer armed than me. That’s what I see. When I watch the NBA or even other WNBA forwards I don’t get that same feeling that I could guard them myself

The Aces aren’t invincible. They were in a slump not that long ago. They lost to the Sparks twice and the last time was without Brink. I know the Sparks have better shooting guards, but they exposed the Aces a little. If the Sky’s bigs, Marina and Carter play well then they will at least have a chance. We’ll see if that’s too many “ifs” for the Sky tonight. The Fever definitely look like they could beat the Aces when they meet again.

Cardoso needs to start playing like a #3 draft pick more consistently and Angel needs to make her layups and ask the basketball gods for a mid range shot. I have to ask myself sometimes how did she make it this far with her poor footwork in the paint. Her footwork looks high schoolish at times. She would’ve been better off going to a team with a successful veteran like Aja because she needs real constructive criticism and guidance. I’m trying my best to hang on as a new fan, but I have to be honest that I feel that I’m not seeing fundamentally sound basketball at times throughout the league. 🧐😬🤷‍♂️

Your takes are consistently terrible. You lack objectivity in every sense of the word. "Unless Angel scores 25 pts and has 15 rebounds in a Sky win, then she's out of the race". Just make up some arbitrary stat line to where if she doesn't meet it, then it means she's not worthy. Angel scored 13 pts and had 10 boards and the Sky won the game. What that means is she did what she needed to do to help her team win. The Sky held leads with Angel in the game, and quickly lost them whenever she went to the bench.

Realistical goal, Angel Reese needs to score 18-20 & get 1 block on A'ja plus 10 boards. Real goal overall Chennedy Carter goes off & keeps them in the game, Kamila gets 5 more blocks with 10 & 10. Right now, A'ja Wilson is the best player in the WNBA and the MVP. Angel Reese is not a threat to Wilson in that regard. Neither is Caitlin Clark a threat to Wilson in that regard. I expect Wilson to out score Reese in this game as she is a much better offensive player. Rebounds will be close, since Reese and Wilson are #1 and 2. Aces will win the game

Lol the race ended when her streak did bcus she looked like a clown. I'm not even talking about calling for the ball trying to stay pad. But all those shots she missed at the rim and foolishly missed those shots. Last I looked the Sky is 2 games behind the Fever in the standings. She only leads in rebounds. CC leads in everything else by a mile. So the race is over unless the media continues to push the narrative.
