The Most IMPRACTICAL GoPro Cinema Rig NOBODY Asked For

Күн бұрынI set out to create a cinema camera-inspired GoPro HERO11 rig, with an Atomos Ninja V external recorder/monitor alongside the media mod. The main purpose was to see how the external Apple ProRes files stack-up against the internal HEVC (H.265) recordings. I conducted several tests between the two, including editing performance and a pixel-peeping assessment in Adobe Premiere Pro. As well as look at the numbers comparatively in MediaInfo, where I analyzed bits-per-pixel to see how well each format retained data in several formats, ranging from 1080p to 4k. Lastly, I include a review of the GoPro media mod to see if it's a worthy investment for video production professionals.

TIL GoPro has a subscription! Also megabits per second is "Mbps" Megabytes per second is "MB/s" Those look like bits numbers but media viewer says bytes. A mystery still to this day!
