Honestly, this video has made me see how much lego has grown in the past decade. Not only is the accuracy of the sets much better, but the techniques and pieces make the sets so much smoother and advanced.

Wow I have a really good memory about the one on the thumbnail. I actually called it the small devourer since it and the great devourer had like the same face but this one was smaller and was controlled by a serpentine. I know there are tons of sets with the snake face but this one was just special for me

I've always wondered how much communication goes on between the show creators (both writers and artists) and the set designers. Like, are the sets based off the show, is the show based off the sets, or are they developed concurrently with each other? I image it varies from season to season but I'm still curious.

The Anacondrai Crusher, Samurai VXL, Almost every Ninjago polybags LEGO has ever released, Enter the Serpent, Lava Falls, Garmatron, Spinjitzu Slam sets, Tiger Widow Island, The Keeper's Village, and well, you get the idea of some of the minor play features too found in every LEGO Ninjago sets...

in my opinion, it is one of the least accurate sets like why does it have katana wings when in the show they're really small ones and the head is nothing like the one in the show and it also has a chain on its leg but why (btw I'm not calling the set bad just saying that's inaccurate)

The fire temple actually splits in the pilots. But I get why it doesn't look the same. The garmadon fortress looks the same, but it is just half of what it looks in the show. In the show there is a giant mountain looking part above it.

The show is based off the sets and not the other way around, that’s kinda why some sets aren’t show accurate. They just take sets from waves that are going to release(minus legacy) and make an entire season out of it

@Rafael Hinojosa is correct. The sets are designed, and then the show creators work them into the story they come up with as they see fit. Just as a recent example, Nya's in the Cyber Dragon set, when in the show she had already been cubed by the time it showed up.

The Garmadon’s dark fortress was in ninjago it was just not in the episodes. It was on dvd with different lego videos (I have it) so the set is not innacurate
