I have this skimmer and I must say. Nothing comes close, hands down the best skimmer I've owned. Also have the bluetooth link so it can be connected through mobile app

Im looking for this to pair with my apex but when the float switch is triggered then your apex would notify you right, since the skimmer wouldnt be working as it should?

The feed mode is used to shut the skimmer down whilst feeding and it will then automatically turn itself on again after a preset time

@@RealReefingTV It's just an option. Some ppl feed Copepods to their system, and they do not want them to get skimmed out.

I want to know if this can feed external air? My house is pratically a closed box. So I have a tube outside, running from my roof top to feed my current skimmer.

I used to have air running from the outside too, when I had my old skimmer on there (bubble magus c99) but I don't see a way to do that with this one.

@@RealReefingTV Shit.. I ordered 2pcs. I like the design so much, so I decided to get 2pcs as one is not enough for my system. But without being able to use outside air, my system is going to fucked up badly, I think. Cuz my house is tightly closed. My country is hot, so I build my house to be air tight (not space suit airtight) in order to prevent coldness from Air Conditioning escaping. Even I, sometime having hard time to breath in my own home. Hopefully I can DIY its air intake to fit my need. Do you think it's possible?

would that new skimmer be overkill for a Red Sea reefer 170 tank? its only a 43 gallon tank.

Yeah I think it would be. I think their jump line would do well for you. It's almost half the cost but a lot of the same features

Hey are you still using it? Can you tell me at what speed did you set it and about the level of the water flow. I have trouble setting mine

I have mine at 8 and the gates pretty much wide open

Mine is set at 10, wide open too but still can't get that light green color. The water level in the sump is over the recommended indicator.

Remember the air divides with the actual water throughput is. The more air the less actual water pumping though it.

It's hard to take these sponsored reviews seriously. You rarely (if ever) hear the reviewer speak negatively of the item they've receiving for free. Just makes for a totally biased and skewed review. Smh. More likely to give a real honest opinion if you had shelled out $700 like a typical consumer will have to.
