Super suspicious to anyone who knows the game well. You just don’t call all in pots with nothing in that situation. You lose to Queen high of clubs which is easily in his range. His reaction is a response to the fact that it’s almost impossible for her to make that call in that situation. And for those asking why the 6th card- they “ran it twice” which means they both have two chances to win post all in.
@galgay1

Its absolutely impossible if playing only odds or using some kind of stat comp, however in the end she won! And maybe her statement of "I was playing you and not the pot" was accurate. I play tons of poker and when playing strangers or ops who I haven't played much I stick to script, however with players I seen make bluffs after awhile I can read pretty good. And let's not forget in the end this is a game of chance. I could tell at that point he could have neither a straight or flush and when she realised which may have been a feeler he took to long thinking to have had third ten. Sometimes if I have big stack I will make such calls just to show others bluffs are not always a good idea! As for her I put you on an ace, that is somthing you might say to smooth feathers he was already beaten so what's the point of rubbing it in? Or maybe she didnt want to give away that she spotted a tell?

The first thing out of Robbie's mouth after the raise to 10k. Was if Garrett can he beat a pair of 3s? You can see the gears turning in her head and she put him on an 87 or a draw of that nature where she might be ahead and she was ahead. The whole time. Anything can happen in poker. It's not about the cards every hand you can play the player. An experienced player can read when someone's on a draw might just be bluffing with a 7/2 off suit

The way she reacts indicates that she was up to something. That's how I feel about it. You would at least be more confident looking, and respond with anger or some intensity if anyone questioned you about it. She looks so uncomfortable and acts suspicious after the hand. Giving the money back makes no sense if you knew you won it fairly. Even if it was a super weird call you would still defend the fact that you did it, which she hasn't really done. It's almost like she's ashamed.

@@Cadillac_Jack in a world where she definitely knows his hand this is a 100% call. It's simple math. The pot is161k, and will be 270k if she calls, so she is calling 109k to win 270k. Then her jabbering about why she did what she did? "I am playing you not the cards"? With Jack high? An Ace or some kind of draw I could almost see but her hand has almost no chance unless she thinks Garrett is playing 52o or something. Plus Garrett senses or thinks he senses things going on at the table or with her. For those in the comments, of course it isn't losing the money that is bothering Garret here, he plays these stakes routinely and loses much larger pots with a smile, the problem is the hand doesn't make any sense, so it's destabilised him, he's trying to work out what might be going on. When you play for this much money a single suspect situation can potentially cost you millions. You have to understand when something doesn't add up, why and how it's occurred. This is just weird. You can't call there, no matter how 'good' a read you have, it just doesn't make sense. Something weird went on, or she just cannot play poker.

I don't think she knew his hand, I think someone told her to call. The reason I say this is 1) because she said she put him on Ace high which she didn't even know she would lose to 2) because there was no way she misread her hand since you can see her check it multiple times, once before the flop and for an extended period at @4:30 and 3) because it would be very hard to transfer the information 8 and 9 of clubs, but very quick and easy for someone to just show a sign or have a signal of eye movements, facial expressions, etc for "call" and 4)because that call makes absolutely no sense no matter what. There is infinite risk there for a nearly 0.1% chance of winning

i dont understand how cheating would be possible on the show. people cant just say “cheater.” imo, she was just tired of getting bullied by garrett since she started coming on the show and out of dumb luck, ends up winning the hand with nothing. would it be so hard to believe that she just wasnt playing standard poker?

Because it actually wouldn't be that hard to cheat these poker streams. All you need to do is get access to the computer system, and that can be done in a few different ways, some that don't even require entering the room the equipment is in. The security on these systems is minimal.

I'm trying to understand this, and I think I just don't know enough about poker. Its not like he had a good hand either right? his was like 53% and hers was 47%. I guess I don't understand why it was sooooo crazy for her to call, but not crazy for him to go all in.

@@mobstastyle It wasn't crazy for him to go all in on the turn, because he at least had an open end straight draw. It was a semi-bluff to push all in. @@mobstastyle Yeah but they don’t see these percentages, they have to mentally put their opponent on a range of cards. There’s a big difference between repping a big hand to scare someone away (assuming you put them on weak cards) vs calling an all in that SOMEONE ELSE made. His choice has a huge potential to avoid a final showdown by making her fold, while her choice guarantees a showdown.
@diorgu
@diorgu Жыл бұрын
@@mobstastyle It's called "fold equity" By being the aggressor and the first to move in, despite only having a draw, he can represent hands that are good (called made hands) that would be very strong. This gives him a very good chance to win the hand right here. However, his strong draw is there to give him a good chance of winning even if he gets called by a better hand, because he has a good chance to make a strong hand when the last cards come out. This is why he runs the last card twice - he wants to increase his chances of at least finishing the hand with some money because his hand is still a draw. However, it's a lot different when you are the one CALLING an all in. It is insanity doing it with Jack high when even many of Garrett's bluffs beat your hand, nevermind all the hands he has that are REALLY good (called value hands, which someone has a lot of the time when going all in). Hope this helps

On the surface it might look like an impressive call because it was the best hand, however how can you ever know J high is good here unless you saw your opponent's cards here. Even if Garrett is bluffing, so many bluffs (J8, JQ, KQ maybe or high flush draws) beat her holding. His shocked expression is understandable, even if slightly amusing, given that this is such a rare occurence. Props to the commentators for sure as well!

1. They would have to know his hand. 2. They would have to send a message to her. The message only needs to be GO GO or STOP. No way anyone would bet like that. The set up was very amateur. They picked a stupid hand to do it. So how do they know his hand? Cameras that can zoom in and see marks on cards or something in the way the table is set up. Getting the message to her is some kind of electronic device.

1- “I thought you had ace high” but decides to call with jack high. 2- She checked her cards preflop and before calling the shove and she said she thought she had a three ? 3- Plays it cool as if calling a shove with jack high for 100k is something completely normal to her as if she does it on the regular. She most definitely cheated somehow even if we don’t know how she did it. Even the best cash game players take ages to decide whether to call with ace high but nope, not this one because she apparently is so great at poker she can read people’s minds like a book.
