What was the most interesting thing anyone said this week? That's our main focus on today's Morning Pitt, but we're also talking about two key defensive plays that have been overlooked, the latest rankings in the AP and coaches poll and more ticketing/attendance nonsense.

Love the YAC stats compared to other QBs. Catch and run to jerrod Wayne was great example of hitting receiver in stride

I know he looked bad in the pocket at times but I thought he mostly looked very good. His passing was excellent and he made a couple of fine plays with his legs. OK, he inexplicably stepped and then leapt out of bounds on one scramble where he should've converted a 1st down but on more than 90% of the called passing plays, he was as good as Kenny was and hey, even Kenny had bad plays. On the RAC yards...why are people ignoring the basic fact that that is what Cignetti's O is designed to do?!?! Doesn't anyone remember 09-10', when Lewis, Dickerson and Baldwin were All-Americans with Stull getting them the ball? The seating stuff is idiotic. The NCAA sets the requirements for ticket allotments and the teams have the right to change those requirements when they sign the contracts when new games are scheduled. In this case, Tennessee knew which seats they were getting 10 years ago and they were fine with it. Pure BS.

Lol if you played football and understand routes and route running. For example the over thrown post the WR ran it too flat. He would’ve scored. I do admit was getting rid of the ball wayyyyyy to slow but maybe WRs were running out routes too deep

Yeah I think those are the details that can be tough to see in the middle of a game. At the game it looked like he held the ball too long, but really the WRs might not have been sharp enough. Good things to work on.

Is there any concern for the conservative, traditional, and boring offensive that is being installed this year?

The offense was 31:29 pass:run and produced a 300-yard passing game, so I think we can hold the concern for a later date. Maybe not put it away altogether, but at least table it for the time being.

Those tickets might be the same allotment that pitt always gives out but there shitty seats compared to the opposing teams that give pitt tickets. What team or university gives upper deck seating for ticket allotments. Yeah it might be the way pitt has always done it but its shitty and looks bad on a university when opponents give all lower deck allotments to pitt. But I guess thats how pitt rolls and how they treat there opponents fan base.

I’m pretty sure Tennessee gave upper deck seats to Pitt fans last year. Lots of schools give upper deck seats to visiting fans. Again, the only thing that’s unconventional about it is Tennessee and its fans complaining.

@@PantherLaircom “According to Hyams, Pittsburgh only offered Tennessee seats in the 500 level at Acrisure Stadium (previously known as Heinz Stadium). UT refused those tickets after allotting 2,200 tickets in the lower level of Neyland Stadium for Pittsburgh a year ago.”

I don’t think it will matter - I think there will be a good amount of Orange there - Pitt can’t sellout that stadium and quite a few leftover tickets will be used by folks from and for Tennessee

If Tennessee fans truly cared about attending this game, then Neyland Stadium would've been more than 75% full for the Pitt game last year. They just don't care about playing a "lower level" ACC school

Disagree - Tennessee had 90K last THURSDAY for Ball State / last year was a hangover of apathy from the previous 10+ years of administrative BS and bad coaching - the real question is why does the defending ACC champion not have the game against a SEC school sold out at a 70K stadium - now those are some real good fans there
