Жыл бұрынLife in the village. Innusya is cooking Ukrainian traditional breakfast - “syrnyky”. Syrnyky is a Cottage Cheese Pancakes. This dish is very popular in Ukraine. "Syrnyky" are typically served with honey, different jams, "smetana" (sour cream), fresh fruits, and others! Innusya will cook syrnyky on the pan and strawberry jam for home cottage cheese pancakes.
🔥🔥🔥Innusya uses an iron stove ( "Marichka") for outdoor cooking (made in Ukraine 🇺🇦). This stove has many options for cooking on different pans and cauldrons. (including bbq and cook smoking). The cottage cheese pancakes look delicious. I appreciate all of Ina’s dishes being made from scratch. I was surprised at all the sugar used in the strawberries. God bless Ukraine and her wonderful people.

Jam usually has a sugar content from half the amount of fruit, up to an equal amount as the fruit. It’s not exactly a low calorie food, unless you use one of the special recipes such as Pomona’s Pectin, which doesn’t require sugar and can be sweetened with stevia or another lower calorie sweetener. 💙🍓🍒🫐🍑🍇🍎🍉🍏🍐🥝

I just discovered your videos and I am glad of it. I am getting ready to make some strawberry jam with strawberries from my garden. I normally use pectin but I see that you do not. That surprised me.
