I've watched this video a hundred times. Every couple of months I find myself watching it again. Always inspired. Great video. The music really matches Andy's style of surfing, especially in these clips. Unbelieveable amount of talent. Andy Irons will always be a great surfer. His memory will always live on.

Surfing today is in a big way fashioned by Andy's style, maneuvers and attack. Best surfer of all time hands down. Always made it look easy while absolutely ripping in heaving surf. Perfect style, poise and balance. His shoulders, upper body, arms all, right down to his fingers are always in perfect movement and rotation with no unnecessary movements. Drew lines that others didn't even mind surf yet. Wrote the book on the back side pig dog squeeze out every inch of tube time. Watch his turns. He never slows down through turns and connects every move rail to rail. Pure pleasure to watch. You can't critique his surfing at all and say oh he could have turned or hit that a little harder, been deeper so and so would surf there better. He always ripped, and you never look away even after watching over and over. Best surfer ever. Andy Irons.

Grew up in Southern California right by LAX onnthe coast. Did a little surfing back in the 80s and 90s. I know the ocean pretty well. Ive been around some local legends. With this decent amount of knowledge i know what to look for as a spectator. Andy Irons is by far the greatest surfer i have ever seen period. So what if Slater has 11. titles to Irons 3. Slater went corporate and he made a ton of money and fame and he is really good . But check this out folks you witnessing here in this video the greatest surfer to ever walk this earth hands down ...not even close with whomever you choose to match up with Andy Irons. People may say jow xan you tell the best surfers all can rip. You see it in the small stuff. Its almost mocroscopic the differences rhat ate there . Ive also never seen a surfer look so comfortable riding waves. His imagination is surpurb. Check out wnen he rides the lip after getting blown out of a tube its like razor thin. Aggressive cutbacks well we all knew that yet hus 12 oclock to 6 ocllock is unmatched in speed and accuracy. Man i cant get over this video. Nice call on the soundtrack. Perfect choice
