What’s crazy is that this is actually the F-15 underperforming in all facets of its flight envelope. The devs arbitrarily decided that the F-15C is the heaviest F-15 (with an empty weight heavier than real life), and also nerfed the thrust of its newer engines, even though they have been shown to have a larger dynamic thrust than the ones found in the F-15A. It has the worst flight model of all F-15s, being comparable to a boat… it’s honestly ridiculous how there’s such a large difference between all of the C models

@Dreams195 Currently, American teams in sim battles normally have pure air domination, and they usually fly over the clouds spamming amraams. 0 fun for the red team players.

Avionics(considerably) and flight performance above 30k ft. The radar in HPRF is missing more than half the range as the dev used soviet manual for it. TWS only exists in MPRF which is also lacking in range, while funny enough russian fighters have HPRF TWS giving them longer range with TWS modes. Scan velocities should be higher with short range modes and when radar distance is set at 10 or 20 (37km)Nautical Miles. With STT, when you crank the radar is able to extend the azimuth to 73° allowing you a larger F pole. Above 30k ft it performs worse than an F15A when it should perform bettter than it. Turn rate, acceleration and ceiling height were all improved with the Pw220s. Also, though this applies to all F15s, F20 and F14, when you fire a sparrow there shouldn't be a a RWR warning because the sparrow home onto the same signal the radar uses to track. The same way you don't get a warning when mirage F1s fire 530Fs on you. The only similarity between the radar ingame and the irl radar is that they have the same name. But well, that will never get fixed. The WT radar dev is an ex DCS dev which did FC3 and the apg63 had these issues aswell. The apg63 got a huge range increase to somewhat realistic values in DCS a while back, guess who left ED before that fix which had 4 years of discussion?

@@The-ThunderTiger ahh but underperforming is not the right word for that. Something can be underperforming and be perfectly correct. I do believe you mean historically inaccurate/inadequate or anachronistic if something is incorrect based on the age of the aircraft
