Thank you for the guide video! I love playing with him so much! Sometimes it feels like he attacks faster than I am clicking because he's still attacking even after I stop clicking haha. Honestly I am surprised how close my attack pattern was to the actual guided one because I basically just spam his attack and his E whenever it's ready lol. And his forte circuit seems to be almost always full so it feels nice haha. I love his fast attack pattern soo much and he's so much fun to play along side my Jiyan. They're both amazing!

I feel like the main reason people saying Calcharo is a bad character is because either they overestimated the damage potential before the game even got officially released, or Calcharo isn't a "turn off the brain and spam clicks" kind of characters. People expected too much from all those leak videos of Calcharo during beta tests and since Kuro reduced the damage numbers a little bit, they didn't like it. I'm not saying Calcharo is the best char in the game right now (as of 1.2) but he definitely isn't trash. Almost every DPS character has their own downside just like Calcharo (like not being able to build stacks on counter atk or no interuption resistance to turn off the brain). If you take Danjin for example, she's a good DPS character, but if she'd played by a beginner, they're going to have a hard time keeping Danjin alive. Now that 1.3 char Xiangli Yao getting released with interruption resistance added to his kit (if the leaks are true), more people are going to sleep on this fun character. Some people in this world have too much unrealistic expectations... Calcharo was my first every character in this game I got (intentionally from selector ticket) and he'll be my favourite character until the end and he's going to be my first S6 character if Kuro ever decides to bring a feature where we can get a specific standard banner character like Chronicles wish banner in Genshin. Plus, aethetics had a role too, I like male characters with long white hairs *looks at Cyno*

You are so good at walking step by step through the kit, thanks! I was bummed when CCs kept saying he HAS to have a strict rotation and team to do decent dmg and I've found that even when I button mash with him, he can destroy even groups of enemies faster than my better built jiyan - I don't even have Calcharo's optimal team and his echoes are sub par. HOWEVER my characters are only lvl 70 so I haven't been able to clear the hardest levels of adversity so in all fairness maybe once I get there I"ll notice the difference haha

Bro imagine they implemented a story where we find him and help him reanimate his brother and he then becomes a playable character, and if both are on the same team you get different intro/outro cutscenes

Good tips. I love Calcharo. He’s my heavy hitter even with still just random echoes and half levelled skills. But he’s getting there. And hopefully my skills to utilise his abilities as well 😅 I’m usually a PlayStation gamer but for early WuWa start has to brave the horrors of mobile. Heh, not as bad as I thought but I really do miss my controller. So the more fancier moves probably have to wait until it releases on PS5.

Also 1 thing that i really like from calcharo is how fast his Dodge Counter attack but also has long (because dodge counter attack has , duration depend on char) It's so easy to insert dodge counter between 2 dodge from 2 fast enemy attack, while other player with other char prefer to do 2 time dodge without counter

And as people have heavily confirmed (see Maygi's video if you don't know) that YInlin is definitively one of her best teammates. So now my Calcharo is maidenless. After seeing this video (will watch the other solo vids later) I have a reason to practice playing Calcharo more.

Actually I like playing Calcha + Yinlin, both have long animations but playing with swap cancel and swap back immediately during long animation is actually fun watching them doing tag team.

I like Calcharo for almost everything. his playstyle, his advance mechanic, and his persona. One of the hardest to masterd with (in terms of peak gameplay) but when you do, The Leader of Ghost Hounds is the Best (HYPERCARRY ELECTRO) DPS in the game!!

I got both Jiyan and Jinhsi both are absolutely fun to play but they have such different play styles. Jiyan is like a vacuum and feels so powerful but completely brain dead in terms of strategies and Jinhsi has so much burst damage but she is super susceptible to hits because she has to float in the air to do her combo so you have to be more cautious. I got 1 more pull on my guaranteed and was gonna choose Jianxin for my Rover team but you convinced me to play Calcharo. He's still the coolest and flashiest character to me, didn't wanna pull him because my buddy has him but we never even play co op lol. Thanks man

I was expecting advices more on Calcharo's liberation mode. It seems very vital to hit all three death messenger for Calcharo yet the timing is so tight a dodge or two too often will make proccing the death messenger seems impossible. What could you do to counteract that?

I pulled for Jiyan but then also pulled for Yinlin and as I got better at fights I’ve used Calcharo and Yinlin more. I’ve noticed that on harder fights, as I get better I don’t even swap into my healer anymore. I just stick between Yinlin and Cal. This has me wanting to use Yuanwu for more off field damage and faster vibration reduction. Any thoughts? I already farmed for 2 void thunder sets and I’m hesitant to go for a 3rd when I don’t see much of Yuanwu

my game just keeps saying connection error reconnecting, even though it was working smoothly on advanced graphics and 45fps and rest off or low previously, as soon as i go in combat the ping drops and say connection error reconnecting, what should i do??

I hate the fact, that if you play with him with more than 140 ms, sometimes when you use his liberation skill, the last bar of the forte will be missed in the combo, and this will affect your overall dps because at the end you will be using 1 charged attack instead of 2. Still there are some workarounds to mitigate it, like dashing or using skill between his attacks, but still i hate it so much because it don't work sometimes.

On my alt i power focus on him 1 from 50/50,another copy from choose a your character ticket and i got him again as pity from novice banner

The main reason people say that he feels "clunky" isn't his out-of-burst combo (which is optional in most cases), but rather the fact that the window to complete three death messengers is razor-thin. He loses around 30% of his burst rotation damage if he misses it (according to prydwen), and the fact it punishes you for dodge-countering doesn't help matters. He's also incredibly vulnerable to damage / getting staggered while he's in the air, which means that against aggressive enemies you are forced to either swap cancel his death messengers (and giving up on outro buffs like Yinlin and Jianxin's) or find a way to face-tank the damage, something not available at this point in the game.

I have a question, i just watched ur video can baizhi's Outro affect other resonator in team not just the next resonator but after switching the whole team, some little flower flying around characters, maybe that's the buff right?
