What was the judge from "Match Game" thinking. The contestant said "school." the word "college" gets accepted but the word "school" got buzzed. Someone had a few too many drinks before the show.

cs This was the time when the judges and the higher ups at the network and were beginning to dislike Richard Dawson and began to make his life miserable. More and more of those like this occurred and he became indignant with the decisions they made until he finally worked out his contract and left the show.

In the match game the judge was SO wrong in saying that the bottom three celebs did not match. the Contestant said 'School' and all 3 celebs had 'school' in their answer I hope that show got a new judge after that episode!

Not that you will probably ever read this but he died of a brain tumor in 1991. This might have actually been a symptom of it before he was even diagnosed. Not saying this is for sure, but it seems logical that things might have been going wrong beforehand before worse symptoms started.
