Lesson of the day, never get distracted for 2 seconds in HOI4

A tip from a pro hoi4 enjoyer, and I'm gonna make it point by point cuz I'm bad at explaining Click on your field marshal, click on the create frontline button thing, hold down shift when you do it to create a homogenous frontline, make an attack order, unassign all your units from the frontline. As long as your divisions are assigned to the field marshal and standing next to the frontline, they will be receiving planning, which is busted asf, like +60% attack busted. You don't need to unassign them but it's easier to micro your divisions when the ai isn't also trying to micro them. And if you wanna be really funny and have a specific general you want to lead all your troops, you can set up a garrison order in an area you don't have access too, like Switzerland, or Bhutan, which is going to set that generals division cap to 72, this only works if you're not assigning them to a frontline but does work with the previously mentioned unassigned field marshal frontline planning trick. one quick tip, sometimes as nations such as France you should make an army of pushing/holding divisions then like 2/3 armies of smaller divisions who's sole purpose is to hold

What kind of template did you have. I was the Soviets and sent around 40 divs of 9-1 with art, aa, and supply support to the allies and I didn’t let the Germans go past the Belgian border. I had to declare on them for a barb and by that time they had nothing left
