Aside from counting all the votes, the effort that went into the editing of this video is insane. The individual "cards" containing infos about placement, appearance in the series, number of votes must've taken a really long time. And they look awesome!

It's just funny that the "War Potentials" listed by Yhwach minus Ichibe and plus Shunsui literally took the top 5 spots on this list. Yhwach's Almighty predicting this poll result years in the future.

Glad Yoruichi made it to the top ten. She's quite the badass and her willingness to defy and break the rules to do what is right makes her stand out along with a handful of others. Shunsui taking such a spot is fitting given his role as Captain Commander and the sheer amount of unprecedented reforms and changes that have arrived to Soul Society under his leadership.

Shout-out to the fellow Iba fans. Understand him not getting higher because of how much he gets ignored or shat on, but glad at least a few people like him. Think he's one of the most underrated characters. Mizuiro's giant bollocks getting any recognition is nice too. The top 10 isn't surprising at all, and I understand the argument for them. Urahara hitting number 1 is well deserved. Congrats again on the subs. Appreciate the work and effort.

@@NeufAtora The whole interaction with Ikkaku after the pillar falls in the fake karakura arc is one of my favorite character moments in Bleach. Like it for Kommamaru too.

@@gager998 Honestly I just love everything about his character. The understated design that's clearly reminiscent of cliché Yakuza that still manages to feel badass, his utter loyalty to his squad and captain (and most people think Renji is the ultimate loyal member to Byakuya in Bleach, yet Iba outstrips him entirely), even the fact that he isn't in it much. That could just be a product of Iba not actually being interesting, but I like to think it's that Iba has a ton of secrets and backstory that Kubo simply didn't have time to explore. He became captain for one or more reasons, that's one of the most well-defined rules and traditions of the Gotei 13. Shinigami aren't put in positions for no reason, though a few characters like Isane also being made captain kind of fight against that point

@@mattstyles2498 Agree to disagree. He has no less development than someone like Ikkaku who was much much higher on the list. The difference is just in screentime and the characters they are associated with. Not to say that I think Ikkaku should be at the bottom of the list either.

I didn’t quite expect the rankings to be so dominated by so few characters, the top 15, top 5 especially had an absolute insane amount of votes. While it was was sad to see my 5 votes kind of under perform what I thought they may have been able to do (yumichika, szayel, riruka, liltotto and rangiku) this was so absolutely amazing to watch.

I was very excited for this popularity poll, and watching this I can really say that I could never be disappointed. Bleach has so many good characters, and we can see it in the variety of characters in this list. I think my top 5 did pretty well. I've had so much fun watching it, it was very worth the wait. Thanks for your effort in counting each vote and making the cards for each one of the characters.

Nice! Came home from the bars and turned on the tv at 1am to see a one armed Grimmjow fighting a creepy masked guy in black above a city. Watching DBZ style fighting with swords intrigued me and the style was really cool so I started binging it. Been hooked ever since. I’ll Ikkaku is in my top 5 favorites.

Looking at the larger context, I'd say that Kensei, Chad, Hisagi, Nell, Unohana, Yamamoto, Starrk, Shinji, Gin, Grimmjow, Kyoraku and Urahara all did better than I expected. I'm happy that Urahara managed to defeat Aizen, very fitting. Uryu, Renji, and even Rukia definitely did worse than I personally expected.

From what I've seen/remember of Japan's popularity polls, I think Rukia and Toshiro usually take the top two spots (at least more recently in Rukia's case), and Ichigo is slightly behind. But overall that would make Ichigo number 1 in worldwide votes and the other 4 would probably be Urahara, Aizen, Rukia, and Toshiro in no particular order.

So glad to be a part of this and I must admit it's such an interesting list from the top 10 to all those at the bottom and many characters that don't even appear my biggest surprise is Possibley how well nnoitora did despite me voting for him but for anyone who cares my 5 votes placed at 40th, 16th, 10th, 5th and 1st this was super cool and can't wait to see how much it might change after the anime returns and if the manga continues

The work that was put into this video is absolutely amazing. Fantastic job! Obviously some of my choices were not as high as I would have liked - Shinji should have been higher in my opinion - but overall a good top 10. Aizen should have gotten first place.

Came back to this video after the last cour ended. I know this kind of videos are a lot of work especially with all that effort you put into the character cards, but I thought maybe it would be interesting if the next rime you do a character ranking you could include how much the placements changed. This would be especially interesting for characters that get more time to shine in the anime than the manga. (Zero squad especially)

All my characters did incredibly well, it was hard to pick just 5 but I had other characters I was thrilled to see did well too! Honestly, I didn't expect Mashiro to have so many votes, even though one of them was mine. I expected, maybe, a little more for Orihime, but I'm pretty happy with the results. As always, great video MrTommo!

I actually expected my man Mayuri to be top 10,since he is a Kubo favourite(and mine as well along with Kyoraku)but pretty happy with 13th place.Great video as always

Randomly watching this right now - as I'm wont to do with all of Tommo's videos usually - and would be fascinated to see how this looks now after Cour Two finished. I'd imagine every member of Squad Zero would be jumped up tremendously on the list.

Always excited to see your subscriber count shoot up as it has! Absolutely look for to your content every week and even skip days just so I can binge them at work. So happy for you! I don't remember voting for Hitsugaya ( I may have) but I remember feeling conflicted about voting for him. I think my affection for the character has waned as I aged and maybe that's the case for quite a few people. So excited Shinji did well and Ichigo of course! I'm not sure if I voted for Aizen but also glad he's so high.

He'd probably be around top 15 for me, so it fits pretty well. Though i've seen in other popularity polls he took the number 1 spot. Only problem with him is he doesn't really develop much. And his plotline with Momo doesn't really go anywhere. But other than that he has a cool design, cool powers and is one of the more prominent captains in the show.

There are some shocking results in this list but overall it was great, especially that top 5, I don't think anyone can argue with that. Not seeing Renji or Mayuri in the top 10 was kind of surprising tho, but that's probably my own bias showing. Love the videos and congrats again on 100k :)

Amazing Video! Thank you for the effort :) Wish I had Voted, I will always wish my boi got higher. Sajin Komamura is my all time favorite character. With my other 4 votes going to Zaraki, Ichigo, Kyoraku and Yamamoto (the double punch Yamamoto scene in fake karakura made me shout out loud, friends and I relived that epic double punch for a week after reading that page xD)

You brought me back to Bleach and even I do not like it as much as you do and see some points of people like Supereyepatch Firewolf as valid I can see more likeable and cool aspects of this world through you. I love Ulquiorra, senjumaru, unohana, as nodt, pernida, tsukishima, gremmy.. the creepier designs, but I couldn't put them in my top 5 cause they just didn't do enough to warrant it for me. You put a ton of work into this, very impressive.
