Besides the board's metallic kind of ping sound when keys are pressed and the sort of obnoxious font on the keys, it's a phenomenal mechanical keyboard. The fact that you can hot swap the switches is huge. Whoever designed this thing knew how to make the cheapest, most solid mechanical keyboard possible. $35 is an insane price.

I have one of these with browns. LOVE IT. I did take apart each key and lube it and it's 10x better than it was stock. Very linear, a bit quieter but it sounds great, and it reduced the spring noise to just about zero. Highly recommend lubing the switches if you have one of these, it's a game changer.

After 3 years from purchase I still currently have and using the Redragon K551 Full Size with Blue Switches and Red LEDs. Never had an issue with it, cleaned it a few times, and it still rocks. I got it for 40€ and I feel like I don't need anything more, the quality is incredible, the feel is good, LEDs are bright but lowprofile as I like, switches have a nice feedback, maybe the spacebar only having a single switch can feel clunky at times, but nothing annoying. Compared to more expensive and custom ones may not be the best, but I think it's the best bangs for bucks, I'm not gonna replace it until it break. And even then I'll give it a second chance.😄

I have Redragon’s 100% keyboard and have used it for a few years now. So far zero issues, even though I’ve neglected cleaning it much, and have spilled water in it once or twice. It’s definitely cheap, but it’s pretty damn nice. At the same price point on Amazon, all the other cheap mechanical boards are just terrible

I've baught a redragon as my first mechanical keyboard (full size), although it was okay to start off with, I wasnt a fan of the keys being somewhat rattly, I ended up swapping all of the keys to gateron yellows. Seems to work great. I would say that if you want to have inexpensive keyboard buy and use out of the box, I would recommend it but if you want to build something yourself, I would say you probably would be better off buying a case because you will be replacing every key on it.

I've had the K552-2 (the red only version with blue switches) for probably 4 years now. I've thought about getting a new keyboard multiple times since then, but I've just never had a reason to. Never had any issues at all with it and personally I think it is probably one of the best looking keyboards I've seen (aside from the font). Definitely held up to the test of time with heavy gaming and extensive essay writing in school. Would 100% recommend to someone looking for a budget keyboard since its just as good as many keyboards twice or even three times its price.

Love it. Have had it for a couple years now. Dropped it while running with the bulls and 37 bulls stomped on it. I finally picked it up just in time to use to deflect a bull's horn. It pierced they keyboard but only broke the f8 which i never use. The next summer I used it surf in Hawaii when my surfboard got broken on reef. A shark chased me as I rode the Red Dragon on a 25 foot wave. It made a lunge for me but I shot the keyboard right into his nose and he took off. Great keyboard!

Bought one of these with only red LED from BB recently for $17.50. Figured it would be a backup or for a family member. I had never tried the lesser known brands or gotten anything too cheap, I wasn't expecting much. Ended up liking the typing feel and sound more than the Cooler Master with Gaterons I had been using. Still using it right now. Metal plate, adjustable feet, hot-swappable, decent features that other boards in the price range don't always have. I've had boards with Cherry MX Brown, Blue, Gaterons etc, and I can't really find anything wrong with using this one. Unless the switches are going to have terrible longevity or something, but there were even 4 spares in the box which I've never had in other products before. A few weeks later and I decided to try a Redragon 60% and am looking at a few others. The white K630 60% arrived and seems awesome. I can't afford all the high-end and specialty stuff people get into, I'm more a fan of a good bargain and I'd rather be able to try a new board once in a while even if it doesn't last forever. Considering other boards I've had cost two or three times as much and I can't identify anything that they did much better, I think I'm a fan of this brand.

I've had this keyboard (blue switches) for about 3 years now. I'm honestly over the moon for it. I've had a lot of different keyboards over the years from the big brands (Razer, Corsair, etc) and while some of them were great (some of them were definitely not), I have been the most pleased with the K552. It's a chonker for sure, heavy construction, the key presses feel substantial (which is great because I have larger hands) and it gives a satisfying sound. Of all the keyboards I've had, this one just feels like it has the most audible and physical feedback out of any of the others. Sure it's a low price and the font on the keycaps really screams "I'm a gamer bois", it is definitely far from any of the other "cheap" keyboards I've used. It's great.

@Funky_Brother 3 жыл бұрын
A tip from someone who's been using this keeb for a while : You can remove the ugly "Redragon" above the arrow keys by using an eraser on it for about 20 minutes with no damage to the keyboard. Also, that protruding part is removable, you'll need to pry it a little bit. Once removed, the PCB is exposed, just like under the spacebar key. It is easy to cover with a sticker. I erased the logo and put a sticker on the protruding part with my gamertag on it. Makes for some good customisability.
