Always love to see CyberPower get some love. I get that it depends on the individual who built the PC for CyberPower/bestbuy but in my case I got a legitimately solid build. Last September bought a $700 Rx 580/Ryzen 3600 rig from bestbuy to use as a spare rig in the family house. Gold rated psu, basic ram( of course) and a decent aftermarket cpu cooler which manages to keep me below between 50-70c in most cases ( much better than stock cooler). The one thing I'll advice everyone buying a prebuilt is to at least check your rig when you first get it, and make sure everything is plugged in, etc. Very very worth imo to get started into the world of pcs. Just be mindful of the state of the market right now when choosing and acknowledge you're definitely spending at least an extra $150...just cause.

This one s CPU s Sink Cooler looks like a 2 piston motor with lights and looked up the pricing for all the parts in PC of around 2000$. On it now. 950 watt supply box, GForce 960 gtx ti 24 gb coisoir ram, 22 inch Asus Monitor and have extra graphics. I could go on and intel of the ups and really no downs so just say, I did well on my side of getting it free and now a new hobby of another build. Gaming is awesome, beyond ps4.

I can clearly see why people are buying pre-built in this GPU market, Even I almost bought a pre-built just to pull the GPU and use it but in the end, I just couldnt do it. I had to build a new system to know everything was fine. I built a I5 11600K with a RX 6600 XT for $1200 and I believe it is a far superior system compared to a pre-built of same price range. I would suggest people take their time and search around to find a good deal on their parts. Their are GPU's out there, you just have to keep searching. While I feel like I still paid to much for my RX-6600 xt, in this market $450 for the card wasnt to bad, it even came with a tube of Vaseline to help ease the butt hurt feeling.

There is a $900 prebuilt on Build Pro PC with a Ryzen 5500, GTX 1650, and 16GB of ram. For under $1000 it's a solid gaming PC for sure.

the cyberpower pc i bought back in 2012/13 served me until i built my first computer in 2019 and is still being used by the family member i gave it to afterwards as of today. the only original part that has failed was the harddrive. even the 120mm aio, which i should have replaced is still kicking. unless you buy the parts off someone who isn't trying to make a profit it would cost you more to recreate this build,. current going price for the parts total about $1224.00 . this was heavily affected by 1660 supers averaging $500.00 between newegg and ebay. youre gonna wanna get another stick of ram for dual channel but this should serve you well for 1080p gaming

I bought this pc back in November last year with the same 1660 super and i5-10400F, it’s held up great. If you buy it I would recommend upgrading the ram to 16gb 3000Mhz and dual channel it, change out the stock intel cpu cooler, and add another ssd or a 2tb hard drive.

@@SliceIceNDice can't speak to their customer service, but to say they are trash, is a lie. You pick your parts, they will send you a PC with little to no boatware and it's cable management is pretty good.

@Tyler Yes you completely missed what I said. I picked my parts and they built it. All of my parts are parts I would have bought myself. And I got the parts on sale with their specials. I paid a total of maybe 300 over market value and that was about 6 months ago when you legit couldn't grab a 30 series card. I agree buying any pre-built from a best buy or Amazon can be real bad, but if you go to the website and use their website to build it, it's perfectly fine.

When gtx 1060 was launched it was like a 250 usd gpu. It was meant for a 600-700 usd pc. Even i5 6400 would get the job done it would probably be around a 100 bucks cheaper then i5 6600k.

I don't know much about PCs and I'm looking for a prebuild on Amazon. You said that the 8GB RAM isn't very good. Would I simply be able to buy a new 16GB part and replace it or do prebuilds not work that way? Can you customise PC prebuilds just like you could a PC built from scratch? I imagine that the answer is yes but I just know jack-shit about PC gaming hardware ☠️
