One point that could probably be added. During Foolish's recent streams, we learn that, indeed, the Revival Book was created by DreamXD and that DreamXD left it and one other book. That book might also be instrumental in this 👀.

Animagician, it's so great how you somehow always manage to find all the clues and predict the unbeliavable with undestroyable clues. I'm realising that the Dream SMP is even more clever, unique and exciting than I thought before. This is EPIC.

Maybe dream is scaring people to beef up their defenses because he knows a different threat is comming. If he plays the bad guy and everyone prepares for war, they will have the materials necessary to fend off the real threat

I’d also like to point of that DreamXD gave Foolish some god powers were he is immortal (there is a limit) and he told foolish that he had 2 books a death note book and ‘another book’ he said he had lost the other book and also said that it was different to the death note book so the revive book immediately popped into my head somehow schlatt must have got it from DreamXD and Foolish is currently looking for it

While Dream keeps things close to his chest, Technoblade is pretty straightforward. Even when he is concealing the truth, he doesn't really go through a lot of effort to convince people of it. He doesn't want control or destruction for its own sake. Even if he wanted to hide a secret alliance with Dream, no one who actually thought they were allies was present when Dream was sent away. With Punz, Dream put on a show. Philza didn't really believe Techno and Dream were friends to begin with and Phil is Techno's closest friend, so I doubt he'd lie to him. I'm not familiar with Tales from the SMP, but from what I've heard, it isn't supposed to be canon. It also sounds like the future described is incredibly far away, so any triggering event can be pushed back indefinitely.

Honestly, as an avid RA2/YR or Mental Omega fan, this Karl vs Dream fighting over time is just like Foehn and Epsilon all over again where Dream (Epsilon) wants to unite the world in his own ruling, while Karl (Foehn) has to stop this misdeed from happening

For the oxygen and air filtration, Tubbo after finding out Ranboo died I think is going to resort to nukes. A large enough nuke could pollute the air like that and cause them to make an underwater city.

What if Dream was planning to gather all the books, Gravity Falls style where he's trying to find the other book to grant him the ultimate wish. I'm sure the wish is to end the world or server reset to pave way for 1.18. It will be interesting for a battle between Foolish and Dream, where if Foolish finds the book first and Dream wanting the book. Old God against Strategical Warrior. Dream will be in trouble because Foolish has lightning powers and a few or couple of extra lives granted by DreamXD plus he's lived for so many generation seeing kingdom rise and fall meaning he should be combat experienced.

also there might be water and a need for an air filter, because tubbo may have used his nukes. they could have been directed either at the comunity house or somewhat close to it. The nukes would create a crater around the place where tubbo sent the nukes causing all possible water to fill the crater and the air would be posined so, all remaining survivors would quickly try to find somewhere safe. I think that DreamXD, since his only job is to bring order and make sure the server is maintained, will fight against Dream, and with the power of a time traveler and a literal GOD on their side, I don’t think Dream will stand a chance. But there is one thing we aren’t taking into account. Purpled. As we see in Quackity’s new stream, he will go to any means to get the revival book. Even going as far as killing Slimecicle, one of his only allies. If he really will go to any means, I think that because it is canon that DreamXD made the revival book, he will fight with Dream to get it out of DreamXD again. It’s not like the current owner will just hand it over to him.

It IS actually theorized by many people, including me, after we sawThe Lost City Of Mizu, many people theorized that Dream killed everyone and rewrote the history, that he was the "hero"

My theory is that with the revival book you can kinda time travel because as we know, time in the afterlife works different and if you were to use that right you could time travel

Really good theory I reckon dream wants to kill everyone with the exception of Tommy as he wants to restart the server. Dream wants to keep Tommy alive due to the fact of how much attachment he brings to the server. In dreams mind he brings a bigger purpose then anyone on the server which is why he wants to manipulate him into doing his bidding.

@Animagician In Foolish's stream Dream XD revealed that there is a second book. He left to books in the mortal plains. That book could be the book of memory loss, but canonicaly Foolish is the only "Mortal" that knows. Just thought you should know!

My theory is that Dream will use the 'I was tortured by Quackity, look at how sad I am' card to gain pity. This also means that Dream KNEW he was not going to be killed by Quackity but still acted scared to make this belieavble. Also, Dream gave Techno the axe, almost willingly. He was just 'Here is the Axe of Peace! Now leave and let me talk to Sapnap!', which is very sus, considering he went back to the place where Tommy was Exiled jsut to get it. Its almost like he wanted Tommy to BLAME techno for helping Dream escape, since Tommy was already wary of Phil and Techo after they helped Dream escape. I have the slightest feeling that Michael will come into play here. He tried quite a number of times to break Dream out. (cannon or not, Im not sure since it wasnt during a lore stream), but still acted almost oblivious to what Dream had done. Wouldn't he have asked about what Dream had done to be locked in the prison b4 trying to break him out? Another thing that was a little shocking for me was that Dream went for Tommy before going for Quackity. The only thought that I would have for this is that he wanted Tommy to be scared of him first, to not even WANT to go after Dream to allow Dream to have one less party going after his head. Ranboo only had one cannon life, which is confusing. The only reason I can think of so far is that he would know Quackity is more prepared (both physically and mentally) than Tommy coz Quackity thought Dream had escaped wayy b4 he actually did. Slime only had one cannon life bc he was (part?)-slime so does that mean that Ranboo's other Enderman and the red eyes-part made him have one life? or is it just coz he lost his lives somewhere else? While enderwalking? bc he didnt seem scared that he was gg to lose his life at all, well he was threatened for Micheal but still. Also... WHY would Sam want Ranboo in the prison, he wasnt a threat at all. How did Sam go from not wanting to lock Ranboo up to threatening to kill Micheal if he was not locked up? ALSO, ALSO, what about Las Nevadas, what about the tnt Raboo put underneath there b4 he died. We now know that Punz, Alivebur and possibly Michael are on Dream's side, so what was the stone for? Remember a few months ago the 2 of them were asking around for LARGE amounts of stone? Alivebur also said clearly to Tommy he wanted STONE, and not COBBLESTONE, but why? uh... Im not rlly sure if it was Michael asking for stone or someone else, coz i rmb a 3rd party but I forgot, someone help me find the clip or smth. The 2 of them, thus far, are DEFINITELY on Dream's side. If Punz is asking for stone then whoever else is is also on Dream's side, I think so at least. But what is it for? Stone is not as durable or blast-resistant as obsidian, which can also be easily mined (with their op pickaxes) so why is stone so important. What does Dream wanna do with the stone. Another fun thing to note, we got a Dream lore stream teaser in March, where Dream was in this like open area in the prison, but he is already out of prison, and that place was not for Ranboo since he is dead, I watched a theory vid by someone, not you I think, so why was Dream back in the prison, what security breach were they talking about if Dream was already out? Its almost as if Dream became a prison guard, but why would Sam be willing to let Dream become one. Its not like Dream had any of Sam's 'attactions' or anyt of that sort, as far as we know, or I know, so why? Kinoko kindgom. Karl seems to have lost his memories a little from time-travelling (He said he was working on a tales so we should know soon. but its the dsmp, we prob have to wait another yr) so it would be alot easier for Dream to manipulate Karl and get him on his side. Karl even seemed reluctant to support Sapnap to prepare for war against Dream and wanted Sapnpa to return the armour. Theory: Purpled is going to be manipulated by Dream to join him. He feels betrayed by Quackity and therefore will join one of his greatest enemies.

When you mentioned the books about oxygen and air supply’s, I thought it meant that Dream would find and set off tubbo’s nuke, meaning will poison the environment causing them all to hide elsewhere, in this case the underwater city. Just my opinion, and if you think differently pls say something! I think this kind of stuff is really cool!

Here is my perspective on this. I fully disagree with this theory. This is going to be a long one so strap in. First of all, I wanna say that I really don’t think we can compare Technoblades and Dreams relationship to Dreams and Punzs relationship/Dreams and Ranboos relationship, or as Ani said calling them “hidden alliances”. And I know we’ve already had a discussion about Dreams and Techno's current relationship, but I really wanna point this out: Yes, Dream and Punz are in a secret alliance, definitely not in a way Techno and Dream are though. The reason Punz is on Dreams side is because Dream pays Punz, and Punz has been on Dreams side basically forever. There’s pretty much no reason for Punz to not be on Dreams side. And then there’s Ranboo, who even if he is on Dreams side, definitely not by choice. So, Technoblade's relationship with Dream shouldn’t be compared to the secret alliance Dream has with Punz. Dream and Techno aren’t friends, and they aren’t allies. Techno, unlike Punz, streams his POV pretty often, and with that, we know him well enough to say he isn’t in a secret alliance with Dream. What we saw after the prison break wasn’t Techno acting like he’s not friends with Dream, because we know that Techno genuinely trusts the members of the Syndicate, who were the only people there, so him telling Dream to leave his property I consider genuine. I personally would call Dreams and Technos relationship respect for each other. They’re smart enough to know that if they’ll go against each other it won’t result well for anyone, but they’re also too different to be on one side, that’s why for over a year they had this thing where they just respectfully go around each other and help out whenever help is needed, because yes, favors. But these favors aren’t a sign of alliance or friendship, they’re a sign of mutual respect. Second of all, the main point of the theory. Ani (to my understanding) uses the City Of Mizu TFTSMP episode as the ground for the theory, and that’s where my problem starts. And this is more of a matter of an opinion, and this also might be a hot take? But I don’t think the City Of Mizu should be taken that seriously. And now I really don’t want you to get me wrong here, I’ve been thinking about how impactful that episode was since it came out (that episode was when I actually started seriously analyzing the lore) and it’s actually often overlooked and not paid enough attention to, but. Let’s imagine that the whole storyline of the SMP is actually a tv show, as an actually big tv show from Netflix or something like that. Would that episode be in a real show, then it would for sure be the most important episode by far, with no doubt it gives us an insane amount of information about the SMP. But it isn’t a tv show. It was an episode that was streamed to around 200k viewers (which is obviously a lot, but it isn’t close to the biggest viewer count the server has ever gotten: 800k) and it was made by a person that at that time wasn’t known for lore at all. It wasn’t hyped up as an episode that would reveal the future of the server, nor did anyone ever talk about it that way. Does that mean that the episode wasn’t as big as Ani made it to be? Of course not, we can never truly know how important things are, but I do hope you see my point here. Let’s imagine that that episode was the Doomsday stream that got Technoblade 800k and more than a mil overall. Everything is the same, the hyping up and the date are the same, but instead of Doomsday, it’s the City Of Mizu. Would that give Ani's theory a way bigger chance? Yes, for sure. What I’m saying is, Ani is implying that we can guess the whole future of the Dream SMP by a single episode of TFTSMP, and it’s not hard to keep in mind that it’s obvious when something has that big of an impact.

I liked the last few seconds with the "The end begins" from God of War, implying that Dream's character will do anything to gain the server back, even if it is mass murder just like God of War. Only in this case, he'll be taking it back thinking whatever his ideals are, whereas Kratos destroys everything for revenge. I can't even start picturing it in my mind with all the bloodshed and chaos (if it even takes a turn that way). I sure hope so.

it's also weird how cdream stated " nobody will know tommy, everyone will think i got better while i make your live a living hell " but instead he keeps the evidence and 5+ people already know that cdream is after ctommy once again ... and this theory of yours makes so much sense, i am hypd

I really like this theory, especially the second part, it seems possible and entertaining, but I would like to disagree with the Techno part. I think that the "alliance" is a bit much, and actually Techno wants to not really trade favors, but get Dream to ove him, and save it for when Phil loses his life, for Dream to revive him. Those other books might be Dream's plan to form an alliance with Techno, searching for commom enemies, but I don't think that Techno cares enough for it to actually go into this plan with Dream. But yeah, it's just theories at this time, and I might be wrong, but I just wanted to put it out there. But overall great work at the video, I'm always watching with interest

On foolish's stream w Dreamxd, it is proved that the revive book was created by him. Dreamxd also said that foolish has a death note. But there is still another. Revive book, in Dream's hands. Dream may also find loopholes in the book which he can exploit. And, dream is said to be able to use the book to clone himself (The prison podcast, technoblade's stream), he can essentially clone himself multiple times to build an all powerful army of just dream clones which he can use to take over the server (and then probably kill them or delete them so the clones don't become self aware)

Accept Techno has no reason to lie to Philza and Phil was the only other person there when Techno told Dream to give back the armor. It is entirely possible that Dream and Techno would team up again but that will only be against a common enemy. Their goals are completly different. Techno wants anarchy and Dream wants “the pre Tommy era” back where he had total control. + Techno has a record of not being fully honest with Dream. Like not telling him about the amount of withers he had before doomsday, not telling him about the ender pearl stasis machean, etc. Techno also reffered to Wilbur as “kind of evil”. Witch indicates that he doesn’t know everything that Dream has done. Because Dream did a lot of the same stuff Wilbur did and more. Also Dream wanting to re-set the world and wipe everybodys memorys is just headcanon. There is nothing that indicates the revive book to have that level of control over DreamXD. DreamXD has said to Foolish that he made the revive book (+ another book) and than just dropped it into the mortal realm. Witch means that the book isn’t remotely important from DreamXDs POV. So this still has a lot of holes and very likely not the thing that is going to happen but still a decent theory.

I think he'll manipulate sam into putting tommy in pandoras vault, hed visit every day to kill him, revive him, kill him, revive him over and over He will revive jshclatt and him, punz and schlatt will kill everyone on the server 1 by 1 Then Punz will once again betray Dream, Techno who has revival book will revive ranboo and techno, ranboo and punz will all team up and betray him to get dream in prison, and have sam let tommy out. Then techno will revive every last player on the server to live in peace. Once again.

Ani, ur forgeting one thing. The future is not set in stone, so we could not truly predict something. Also while I was reading the Dream SMP wiki about Tales from the SMP, I found out that the cave in Dream's room is suppose to foreshadow upcoming lore. Is that cave suppose to be the same one that Karl arrives after he time travels? Just wanna let you know about that. Also if you can please reply to me because I want to see your opinion about this.

Animagician, since you like to do a lot of deep lore searching and stuff, I have a question, everyone says dream has 1 Canon life left since he lost 2 before being sent to prison, but he lost 1 prior to all this, the railroad war, dream was canonically killed by tommy when he ran him over, so my question to you and everyone else, how is dream still alive? I have a personal answer myself, I think dream has a way to take the lives of those who joined in late, since all new people who joined only have 1 life after the life rule was created. So Philza, jSlatt, and Ranboo, all only have 1 Canon life and 2 of those people are dead. So my theory is, since its technically his world from the start, he has a way to take the lives of others but for himself. I don't know how he could be doing this but it's a theory. But I do wanna know how he's alive with 3 Canon deaths...

I really hope they do something like this but not exactly this because then the whole plot was just spoiled to me :|

For tales of the smp I think that the dream smp was ran over by water like how one of the rooms has the same table as where Ranboo and Tommy met. And I think all of the episodes are different versions of the future smp and what could happen to the server.

an interesting thing that been shown in Foolish Streams, is that DreamXD is The God of the SMP and everything in the Smp He sees as belonging to him. He also mentioned in the last time he met with Foolish to check how the statue was coming along, that He dropped Two BOOKs somewhere in the smp.. and he mention how they have something to do with Death and Life.. Hmmm.. its almost like DreamXD were the creature of the Revive book, which Shlat then found and gave to dream, which reminds me.. Foolish even asked DreamXD why does he looks like dream. The Answer? Well Dream were appearently the First mortal DreamXD saw and met. So that's why he looks like dream. But anyways.. back to the book thing.. So We know that there is more then one powerful book in the world of DreamSMP, And that it have something to do with Death or life, But cause we already know about the revive book, that means that this second powerful Book dreamXD talks about, has the power over Death.
