@@Namsui Many years ago when STB was changed to have the hydro suspension and 360 alpha damage. Before it was simply below average medium with same alpha damage as E-50M, Patton, Centurion, Leo, etc.

@@Namsui few years ago when it got the hydropneumatic suspension, alpha was changed from 390 to 360 and the type of ammo went from APCR to AP. Turret armor was also massively buffed, used to be not that great.

Weirdly enough I used to play Leo1 a LOT because it was so accurate then all of the sudden I had several games in a row where shots went everywhere but where I aimed. I get the game is RNG based but this was really bad. Maybe I should test it out again to see how it is

Happening with me as well. Now I trying to predict if my Leopard will hit a tank or not? I mean, not penning it, just hitting. I would be happy if my Leo actually hitting where I`m aiming.

I had similar experience with small gun on borsig, it was reliable and dependable then as you said all of a sudden it would not hit anything. They definitely did something to it, I changed to the big derp gun it was so bad. Now I've stopped playing as it's just a cluster fk of a game now.

happens to me as well, even if i full aim, plenty of tank's exposed sides outside the aim circle, and the enemy is not moving. i dont even get a "screen not penetrated" feedback, is this a classic case of ghost shell?

I think I might have picked it up during a downtime based on this thread 😂. It wasn’t hitting a god damn thing when I got the tank so I just stopped playing it. Although I was doing the gimmick of fully aiming my shots and the RNG gods really don’t seem to like that. Yolo snapshot into tiny cupola on the move? Oh hell yeah. Fully aimed shot into the broadside of the FV turret? Somehow shell goes to the absolute edge of the ring and misses completely.

I just had 4,7k dpg session (30 battles), pushed my stats from 2,7 to 3,1, after 160 battles…. Yeah, this tank is best of the best. Maybe this will be my first marked t10.

I think wg does understand. But to give games longivity you dont want it balanced. You want changing metas to keep people in the game. If the meta tanks would be the same like 5 years ago the game would be dead already

@@NoThisIsPatrick_ changing metas to keep players engaged that's for sure. But it's not good when someone can get the meta tank by only gambling. In my currency if i want to buy 240 loot boxes, in that money I can travel 10000 km on plane. Or 2 people can eat real good for entire 1 month. 240 loot boxes is like 2/3 of one month salary of a employee.

I understand your point and I'm not saying it is good that wg is milking people like that. But I understand wargiming aswell. As nearly every company they do what they think gets them the most money. A concept like in league of legends where you only pay for skins does not work in the same level for WoT. Lets be honest WG just wants as much free2play players so that the paying players get fast enough matches.@@o_j_o6447

The main reason as of why it's so popular is that the tank can actually land the vast majority of its shots in the spot you're aiming at. Oh yeah, and it's pretty mobile.

@skill4ltu do you think they should rework the armor of leopard 1. It has kinda weird armor you know. No armor and you can still bounce the hull or turret.

Except it has armour. 70mm of sloped armour is enough to bounce plenty of shells depending on the angle. Same for the turret cheeks

@Without3 I've noticed it's about 30% of games that you always lose and 30% you always win. The other 40% is up to you, that's why 70% wr players exist. They win almost every game that they can win. I stand by it that 29% wr is a skill issue but if the tank isn't for you it isn't for you

@@Without3 my Leo 1 is actually at 39% win rate. I was basically saying if the tank is a loser, I don't play it. Regardless of performance. My overall win rate is more important to me than any specific tank.
