Tana Umaga vs South Africa the best in my opinion. Historic because it was the first Kapa O Pango, and the intensity was unreal. Shivers watching it every time.

I have discovered my love of Hakas recently. The tradition, the emotion, the intensity. What an inspirational and amazing tradition. I hope to someday experience a Haka in person. I am of European and Scandinavian descent, but the Haka is a breathtaking experience every time I see one online!

The 2019 was definitely the best I've witnessed even more so when I watched that game at the stadium in Yokohama. 2005 against the Springboks was also another memorable haka. The All Blacks and Springboks rivalry is one of the best in sport, period!

For a moment as a kid in 2005 I'd thought that Tana Umaga was possessed by the Maori spirits when he led the Haka (Even though he wasn't a Maori himself). Piri Weepu and TJ Perenara's are my 2nd and 3rd favorite hakas respectively.

@@aaravworah2971 i mean, tbh the maginot line was one hell of defensive line, and it did it's duty during ww2. The germans went around it because it was strong as fk, and the british and french plan was, the germans would go through the Netherlands and Belgium and they will stop the Germans there.

Fun fact: that was the first time the All-Blacks did the "alternate version" of the haka, the version that they use only in the most important games or in world cup knockouts. The fear honestly probably was mixed with a bit of confusion as the players had never seen it before.

I remember being taught the Haka in primary school in the '80s. You're supposed to slap your thighs hard enough to leave them raw for the rest of the day.

3rd One was the best. It's the same one that I remember watching as a child back in the 1970's. My late father took me to Twickenham to see a London Counties XV take on Graham Mourie's team in 1978. Not sure who lead the Haka then.

I was born in 1983 and my first Haka on TV I ever saw was when I was 9, I don't know they were playing but not sure if it was a recording on VHS. My grandad wanted to show me it because every Sunday they would watch Rugby union my dad was League though lol. He just sat me in his knee and said watch this Son, I was transfixed to the TV I'd never seen anything like it. I'm now 39 and I've watched the Haka every year of my life because of that day I don't even follow Union at all but I've watched it everytime, because it reminded me of that day

Digital compacted video the 2000s were all about digital videos the original would be clear. Every time it's uploaded from another source it's compacted more and more which makes it look more pixelated

the one from 2011. i remember that one like if it was yesterday. i am in a pub in Ireland when we frech guys decide to challenge the haka. at the end od it i have a kiwi guy looking at me and saying you better be there for 80 mins. my answer was don't worry we will be there and we were there for 80 mins
