I think Atrocitus represents a huge problem I have with Netherelm as a whole. They have these cool awesome characters that they don't do anything with in the the story so they won't be in the next game. Examples are Noob in MK11, Kollector, Ferra/Torr, Ermac in MKX, and Swamp Thing. Why put them in the game just to do nothing with them and have them slowly rot having basically no chance of being in the next game. I main both Kollector and Atrocitus and man it sucks.

Woah underdawg you're completely forgetting about Zod's trait from the first game, he was my main and he easily had the best trait in the game and it was completely broken and here's why. So for y'all don't don't remember Zod's trait and what it does let me explain, by pressing the trait button Zod would summon a Phantom Wraith that would always appear behind the opponent it would only last about five seconds and the cool was down was around eight seconds. Now this wraith could only do two things. By simply pressing the trait button the wraith would hit the opponent for 5% damage and on block it did 1.13% damage, if you held down and pressed the trait button the wraith would grab the opponent allowing for a follow up combo. Now this grab only lasted three seconds and was very punishable, but a good Zod player wouldn't do it at a close distance. The wraith also made moves safe, for example Zod had a special move called Zod charge that was very unsafe but if the wraith was out you could command the wraith to hit the opponent after the charge making it completely safe. Oh yeah by the way while the wraith was out Zod could do anything he wanted to do, jump, walk, dash, do strings, specials and throw interactibles, the wraith was it's own separate entity. Zod was also the master of interactibles, since interactibles were unblockable in the first game while the wraith was out Zod could freely throw interactibles at the opponent and command the wraith to hit the opponent at the same time he threw a interactible at you, basically making it impossible to dodge. Zod also had some advance combos that weren't found until some time after his release and these weren't previously thought to be in the game, this allowed Zod to combo into trait where it wasn't normally thought possible. On top of this Zod had a unreacactible 50/50 using his trait grab, so Zod had this special move called ground blast which was a low ground laser that he could fire at the opponents feet which you could cancel it at any time into a forward or back dash. From ground blast if Zod had his trait out he could actually cancel the ground blast into a trait grab, and by canceling I mean you could actually cancel it so fast that it basically becomes a unreactible 50/50. So yeah in conclusion while Zod his trait out he completely shut down the whole game for the opponent, it was honestly broken and this is where Atrocitus trait comes from except it's not as broken. And let's not forget Zod was also one of the best zoners in the game, so the combination of his zoning and his trait made Zod easily one of the best characters in the game officially he is the number three character in the first game.

Hey, TrueUnderDawgGaming I was a former Atrocitus main and I'd like to inform you a bit more on what he was capable of while using Dex Starr. You mentioned in the video on how he could combo off of blood nado using a projectile, and you continued the combo with a regular string I believe, but in fact, it is way crazier than that. If you timed it properly with dex Starr's shield you could get in a meterless back 3 and create a 300+ combo even if you landed the blood nado as the initial hit. But it gets even better, sees one of the options that Atrocitus had was his ender which was the forward flying punches, now normally the issue with this is that it ends the combo and the opponent is knocked down for a combo, however, if timed properly with dex Starr's shield you could end up getting off a bloodnado into the shield which allowed you to rest and the opponent even off of his main combo ender. So even if you were nearly out of your trait, you could your combo into the flying punches, into a properly timed shield which would allow you to use blood nado into shield again which lead to back 2 3 I believe into blood vomit which restood the opponent and allowed him to get back into pressure. But I have one more insane thing that Atrocitus could do. See the main tactic to stop Atrocitus while he had is trait active was just to continuously pressure Atrocitus making it incredibly hard for him to attack nullifying his offense. However, it gets crazier here, sees you mentioned if the opponent had no gaps in their string he couldn't do anything, however, there is one problem. As long as Atrocitus could get a down 1 off in any capacity he could continue his offense again. What I mean is that even if your enemy had no gaps and even if your enemy was plus on block as long as you could get off a down 1 you could continue your offense. See if you timed a d1 input with the dex star projectile at the same time no matter what happened the dex star shot would come out. So even if your opponent was let's say plus 3, even if you both traded or your opponent interrupted your down 1 with theirs the dex Starr shot will still come out, either hitting them or hitting them on the block. In either scenario, you could shut them down completely by getting back into your offense because either option made atrocitus plus so even if your opponent ended in a safe combo string or special move you could still continue your pressure.

I love atrocitous he was my main all the wayout injustice 2. I have recorded comeback games with this character. Very understed tier character had the best trait in the game and sickest combos with his trait. Im glad netherrealm never twinked wit this character he is soo balanced. He had nice skins aswell. His combo attacks were filled wit rage and vengeance. I love how most of his intros had him trying to recruit powerful rage filled characters. Very underrated lantern. Did you know Atrocitus the first to reach level 30 in legendary edition and the only one today to be level 30. To make it better: Atrocitus was obviously level 1 with 1 leg epic gear and red hood was the most leveled character with level 10 Then batman became level 20 when I got the ushimel gear set now he is level 30

Actually I think quanchis bat is better.u make the punishable moves safe.it is super fast and has more damage.u can extend your combo or perform a combo with many attacks like skull uppercut or even the ex skydrop.its a way better zoning tool.and u can use the low bat to do a overhead low mixup at the same time.

I’m just really getting into this game because my sons are 10 & 12 yrs old and they’re trying to embarrass me at this game( little do they know when they were toddlers I was smoking inj gau!)I’ve not seen the blood push ability in any of your vids ( granted I could’ve overlooked an Atrocitus video ) do you have any videos touching on the lvl 20 and lvl 30 abilities that unlock? I gather from your commentary that the game has been changed for certain players ( nerfed some, boosted others I suppose) also do you have a tutorial or how to guide on setting up the ai and how to make it work when I’m not playing?! Taking 3 months to get 4 lvl 30 character( Superman, BM, Atrocitus, Raiden) thanks let me know.

When puppet characters attack in western games lol As far as puppet characters go he's pretty tame personally. They usually have unblockables and their puppets last forever in a lot of cases (Or they can put them away and re-summon them right away) instead of a couple seconds

I swear Atrocitus becomes a zoner once you start spamming Bloodnado. It's faster than you would think, especially online.
