Greens life gain is shit, white still rules the roost when it comes to life gain. Green just has better payoffs for life gain.

Only red and blue tend to not have lifegain elements. Besides, it's difficult _not to_ encroach on white's "territory" when designing a card, as white does pretty much everything and anything, except card draw, ramp and very color specific things (IE. counterspells). Just sucks that card draw and ramp are paramount in EDH.

I think white should have more counterspells. They should have more Mana TIthe type counterspells and counterspells that give opponents life or a token or something. Even red got a counterspell in Kaldheim. If any color other than blue were to get them white should definitely be the one.

Probably has a video editing template. Like "Insert card image here" and "Enter Text Here" sort of thing. That way he can just copy-paste each new card while each video has the same formatting.

Real shocked you didn’t talk about Alhammarret’s Archive. Double the life you gain off of pests and draw twice as many cards. And of course it’s hard to go wrong with an Aetherflux Reservoir in any kind of lifegain deck. I am so going to build this

Dude this is just like my mono black Gisa deck where I make a metric fuck ton of zombies and other tokens and sacrifice them all to make mana and draw cards for big plays. Except this is in Golgari colors, so it's even better. I'm building it.

some other funsie things if you have the money for it would be a tree of perdition/redemption setup, with all of the +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters in these colors, you could just have free reign over life totals.

I brewed up a sick deck for this that ive been playtesting that just has all the lose life/gain life effects. Every single turn my life total goes down by 20 or 30 and then back up above starting. So fun

I would play font of agonies in it because beledros helps you putting counters on it which you can use to destroy target creatures like himself.

YES!! I was hoping the Witherbloom Dragon was going to be good, cause Willowdusk seems fun but a little meh overall. I'm gonna buy/Upgrade the precon and swap her out for Witherbloom. I'll still have her in the deck though, she's decent synergy in the 99.

Also, Weather the Storm may be a good card as you can play a few smaller spells before casting or play when your opponents cast a ton of spells.

You can also add Ashaya, Soul of the Wild to let the dragon also untap your nontoken creatures. I'm sure plenty of shenanigans can be had from that.

Put this in Jorn with all snow lands, with strionic resonator, and this guy. Attack with Jorn untap float into Kruphix or horizon stone, pay 10 life untap all lands, float, etc

So Korvold Lands just got a new card. I just care about the untap effect, I need my lands to untap the turn they etb due to effects either tapping them on entry or it being a part fo the lands text. Very much liked

If you have away to gain 10 life from sacking Beledros for example with Miren, the moaning well and maybe verdant sun's avatar, you can use Journey to eternity to bring Beledros back from the graveyard. Then spend 10 life to untap all your lands and repeat infinitely.

Beledros plus Savra plus Yawgmoth in a Meren Deck? Four sacs for -2 life, -4/4 to creature, four draws, and double our lands mana this turn. Sounds pretty damn sick. Throw in classic aristocrats to ping and gain even more life.

Conspiracy- make all your pests into Saprolings Life and limb- make all your saprolings forests Evolution sage- proliferate every time a land enters Parallel lives- 2 pests a turn which means proliferate 2 times each upkeep. Just to help with that upticking of helix ;)

Platinum Empirion would be an interesting inclusion. It's an 8-mana 8/8 that gives you the ability "your life can't change" and you can play it on 8, then immediately trigger the effect to effectively reset your mana that turn at no cost.

sadly it doesnt work that way. Platinum E's rullings - You can’t pay a cost that includes the payment of any amount of life other than 0 life. However, you can choose to be dealt damage, even though that damage won’t result in your life total changing.

I don't think the blink and activate again would be allowed due to the card saying : activate only once each turn. I may be wrong but that is how I would interpret.

I think so too but only because I had a similar question about „Ranar the ever-watchful“ and people online told me flickering him does not reset the „first card you foretell each turn costs 0 to foretell“ effect. Edit: I am not so sure about my initial assumption anymore since Beledros says „activate only once“ and if he were to come back from the graveyard then for all intense and purposes he would be a new card. For example creatures loose their tokens too after they return from the graveyard to the battlefield even if they came immediately „back to life“.

The actual most powerful elder dragon is Dragonlord Atarka, with 8 power. Notably, with a little mana and no need for other cards, Vaevictis Asmadi can easily surpass that number, becoming the most powerful elder dragon. Chromium also temporarily achieves this if blocked by more than one creature, but that's harder to control.
