Speed, glorious speed has proven to be one of the best superpowers one could ask for. Yeah it usually comes with a metabolism that requires you to eat like 40 pizzas a day, but who doesn’t do that on a friday night anyway? But there’s always one huge, looming question about speedsters and that’s always: just who is the fastest? Well that’s what I want to talk about today! So let’s zoom through some of the best superhero speedsters of all time to see who inches ahead of the pack!
Like we obviously know that every main version of the Scarlet Speedster will make this list. That means Barry Allen, Wally West and Jay Garrick will obviously make the cut, but out of the three of them, which one is the fastest? How does the former mutant Quicksilver compare to the fastest mutant Northstar? And yes, we’re also going to include some fun, quirky superhero speedsters like Dash from The Incredibles, A-Train from Amazon’s The Boys and even everyone’s favorite Sonic the Hedgehog! It’s going to get wild!

Even CW flash dont use slo mo many times right?? They use for few scenes but for most fight scenes especially in season 1 when barry saw reverse flash after years

@@sanstheelumbu ya but when we talk about makkari, we talk about how the camera stays with her as she fights. If you watch the flash and the reverse flash fight, the camera is still and we just see blurs. But if you watch makkari fight, we can see literally everything going on and she’s still moving super fast

In The Boys, Homelander specifically states that A Train isn't even hitting the top 20 speedsters in the world. So he isn't even the fastest in his world.

@@androanthony5853 To be completely honest Wally was probably always meant to be the fastest. To add to it Wally has found a state of peace and has went through a ton of training to clear his mind from distractions. Unlike Barry, Wally now has the potential to be insanely faster because of the loss of outside problems.

Absolutely love Wally West but MCU Makkari was so likeable. Her fight against Ikaris is my all time favourite speedster scene. The way she dodges his heat vision and destroys him with her speed is just a sight to behold. Especially when she stops just short so that the pure force of her speed slams Ikaris into the wall.

Nah zack synder flash was the best ! the justice league lost he had to go inside the speed force and rewrite time ! Not only was this a cool scene to look at but impacted the story ! So zack synder flash scene is the best speedster scene till this day untill probably he’s movie comes out next year since apparently the movie is about flashpoint and he does all crazy stuff with he’s speed in that story

Correction, the reason the runner was able to run faster than his own thought was explained during his confrontation with Thanos in the comics in which at that point the runner had the Space gem which allowed him to actually teleport to a place he wanted to go subconsciously that is why he thought he was running faster than his thoughts from the epic Thanos Quest comic.

The thing I like about Makkari and what sets her apart from the other speedsters is her sensitive to vibrations, which maybe heightened because she's deaf. Wether or not that is something others can do is beyond me but it has not been mentioned.

The most amazing part about Wally's speed in the evacuation isn't just how fast he runs, but that he does so while actively searching for people. Like, imagine comparing the running speed of a sprinter to an obstacle racer...

The things everyone forgets about Makkari is that she is an Eternal. And like all Eternals, she has a degree of super strength and durability as well. Thats pretty lethal when combined with her speed

Wally and Barry had a race and Wally won. In fact, there was a book out where these teleporters could teleport across the universe, but by the time they ended up where they were going, Wally had ran. He is faster than teleporting. I believe I once read that he runs faster than time itself. I can't wrap my head around that. Can you?

Technically, half of the people on this list could outrun teleporting, simply by breaking the time barrier. They can arrive in a negative amount of time.

@@Wortigon2000 yeah, but their speed isn't as fast as outrunning teleportation, it's just a little cheat to outrun the teleport so their speed isn't nowhere near the speed of teleportation or faster

@@Ianin959 teleportation means arriving from point A to point B without having to cross the distance. This effectively makes it instantaneous. Aka it happens in zero time. It's literally impossible to "outrun" it without breaking the time barrier. And by "outrun," I actually meant have either matter, (or any form of wave for that matter), travel faster. Since Wally managed to outrun instantaneous movement, that means that there were 2 of him present at the same time, since he had to arrive before he left. Meaning he literally did just what I explained that half of them can. I'll never understand why people bring up THAT feat for how fast he is, he has a lot of remarkable ones :/ I'm also worried, that this list didn't contain the fastest Flash at all... just because she didn't have so many appearances... poor Sela. She's the only speedster who managed to become fast enough to be omnipresent. I believe Eobard Thawn managed to be multipresent, Wally and Barry as well, maybe Bart too, after taking Godspeed's speed away, but that's it. Even Godspeed was only fast enough to be present at 2 places at once. Thawn managed almost 100. Sela doesn't even care about the number, and just does however many is needed. Wherever they're needed. Whenever they're needed. becoming one with the speedforce has it's perks.

There was a sort of "obscure" speedster from the "Squadron Supreme", and his counterpart (Squadron Sinister) with the same name called the "Whizzer". The Whizzer from the "Squadron Sinister" would later rebrand his name to "Speed Demon". There's plenty of great powerful unknown speedsters in both DC and Marvel Universe's. Also I can't fathom as to how you didn't put Black Flash on this list. He literally hunted all the speedster's and killed whoever disrupted time.

My favorite thing about Quicksilver is the difference between him and the flash... Quicksilver perceives and lives life (naturally) at a rate much faster than a flash.. this could be a disadvantage.. but Quicksilver lives fast all the time in the flash only lives fast when he needs to... Quicksilver described it as if you've ever been in line for an ATM behind somebody that doesn't know how to use an ATM.. The impatience that grows waiting... where the flash would stand there at an ATM like a normal person but if you needed to be fast he would be fast

I think what’s funny is that for a long time I didn’t even realize the Flash in the Justice league show was Wally, I had assumed it was Barry until that episode that they reveal their identities, and then I realized that what they have been doing is essentially having Barry do things that Wally has done in order to increase his popularity over the years, so EVENTUALLY it’s possible that Barry overtakes Wally, but right now yeah no question Wally is the fastest speedster whos ever lived.

@@niceandflyy zoom in the comics isn't fast, he stays still and moves the earth around him, not technically a speedster, savatar was only a one off comic and was quickly apprehended by either Barry or wally pretty quickly within like 2 pages of him appearing, nowhere near the fastest

@Khaotic Method exactly i think the first season they had an idea. When Barry was stopped from becoming the speed force, Eobard Thawne was no longer a speedster as the speed force was never created. and had to build things to grab up whatever of its energy remnants he could. Its why he had to make Barry the flash again.. he trapped himself there.

Didn't in one ocasion the flash (I dunno its west or allen) actually ran so fast that he reach a speed that cannot be define as speed or velocity anymore? He reaches the speed faster than a cosmic level being's instant teleportation across the multiverse. He is describe to be at anywhere across the multiverse at that given time.

After some research, again because I keep forgetting the minor details, the fastest calculated speed Wally West has gone is 24,231,000,000,000,000, or about 24 quadrillion miles per second. The speed of light is accepted as 186,282 miles per second. But as for the instant teleportation trick, it's not Wally running faster than instant, assuming it is instant and not some build up of their power so they can than teleport from place A to B without actually moving, like with Goku having to find the place he wants to go and than him disappearing from point A only to materialise on point B. If someone had a true instant, look up Dragonball Abridged where they literally made him instant, than no, an actual running Wally West would be slower, even if he could get to the same location as fast as he could ever run, you cannot be a time of zero. Even if you take into calculation the fastest Wally can perceive time being a picosecond, which is a unit of time equal to 10^-12 or one trillionth of a second, even if Wally could get from point A to point B in that amount of time, it's still an amount of time greater than zero, so no, Wally could never outrun true instant teleportation, but he still wins every time because unlike instant teleportation Wally IS moving, he can run, he can perceive time, he can actually do something instead of just worm holing between 2 points and because he is actually moving at those speeds through time and space he can move past the time and multiverse barrier and do whatever he wants, whenever he wants and in whatever multiverse he wants.

Okay quicksilver can run at his fastest 750,000 mph and that's still nothing to the Flash Family But even in X-men Apocalypse when he saved the school he went approx 3200x times the speed of sound. Also Garrick is way faster that 750 his top known speed is around 1.5x the speed of light I'm not gonna go through the rest but you are way off on basically every single one. So the Xmen modded up his speed a bit But yeah he is no where close to light speed.

MCU Quick Silver is arguably the slowest, while X-Men Quick Silver can go so fast time almost stops, as well as having the ability to manipulate physics to some degree.

14:47-14:51 Neither Barry or Wally have struggled to break the time barrier with their power. It’s just difficult for Barry to travel through time since he revealed to Jay that it’s basically bouncing around different time periods. Wally only the other hand can travel through time much better since he practiced it more during his run on the Flash. Plus both Barry and Wally really, REALLY hate Time Travel.😕
