When I first came across this game I literally thought it was real life, so I thought you guys might like to check it out as well!
The game is called Ride 4, and is available on PC, Xbox, and Playstation.

One tip that really helps in driving simulators: don't look close in front of you always look far into where you are going, even for tight corners.

So true. It is much easier to do in a real car/bike. I think the issue is in sim you have less information about your position on the track so you're always looking close to you.

TT Isle Of Man is an extremely unforgiving game, even with a perfect controller where every input is silky smooth and intuitive there's no real control of the bike, and going too spicy on the brakes or the throttle will send you to the ground. High speed sections are an absolute thrill that will make you clench your ass in your seat so hard you'll be constipated for a week.

I really appreciate all the love on this video guys. I never expected so many to people see this. In this video here I was using the full arcade-style settings which let me do some very unrealistic things, but I posted a newer video using the 'realistic' settings. I'm personally into more just chill experiences like seen in this video, but you can definitely ramp up the difficulty to get that full sim experience. This game is very hard to play on any setting though, especially in first person mode.

So I didn't realize that Ride 4 looked this gorgeous, I'm pretty much blown away every time I see one of these simulators and their ultrarealistic graphics. Even GTA V mods are incredible. But what has me giddy about this video is the legendary track you're going around. I'm a racing enthusiast first, and anyone who shares that distinction should know about the Isle of Mann, the craziest, deadliest race of the year on 2 wheels. Just think... there's a place in this world, that looks almost exactly like this map, where real riders fly around averaging... AVERAGING... 116 mph.

I've never been to the Ulster Grand Prix, or the North West 200 (I'm in Australia) but those scenes look stunningly familiar. That's so realistic it's frightening! When it comes to motorcycle racing sims, the trick to corners is you have to "look into" the corner, and make your control inputs according to what you see coming up ahead instead of what's right in front of you, much like riding a motorcycle in real life.

This would be wild in VR. My favorite vehicles to race in Project Cars in VR are surprisingly the go-karts, because of how wide open everything is and seeing the road speed by beneath you. The sense of speed is fantastic. A well placed box fan can also do wonders. I have to imagine it would be pretty exciting watching the curbs whiz by your face as you bend into a corner on a bike in a game toting this much general realism.

That's crazy. They even included the water on the camera lens. Unreal.

To the naked eye it looks like real life. They knew at a fast speed with the building renders, rain, and lighting effects... that you would believe it. The give away is the tiny "blocky" rendering of the break fluid reservoir on the cap. Also, the fact the guy is playing the video game in the top left corner. 🤣🤣

Quick tip-when braking be very smooth and slow with it. If you just slam on the brakes your bike will loose traction in the rear

😂 I bought this three days ago and played it for a total of one hour. I was so disappointed that I fell off the bike over 50 times in that hour. I thought it was me being total sh** at this! Thanks to you, I now see that one hour is waaaaaay to little time to master anything near a lap on this bike...... Back to the saddle then! Many thanks!

No stop that's the North West 200! I grew up in that area and it's tripping me out seeing you drive a video game bike around it

It's funny because cornering on a bike is super intuitive once you have some practice and in theese games it's a serious challenge to know how you should go through

considering the insane setups existing for simracing I am surprised there arent any for sim motoracing, like a bike you can sit on and tilt (a bit like arcades just better) that works with these games.

I really wish Milestone would produce a car racing game that looked this good. I've always been a little jealous of Ride, as someone who prefers cars

I went to the North West 200. Which I believe this course is based on and I have to say I am blown away by how accurate they have made it.

Looks stunning visually, but something seems off in first person with what happens when leaning into the corners. It almost seems like the rotation of the bike is halfway up, rather than at the contact patch of tyre and road. It looks like as you lean the tyre moves away from you towards the outside of the corner instead of your head moving towards the inside of the corner as the bike leans towards the apex. Hope that makes sense.

First scene I was like, of course yes. That's a recording. - only the bike light reflections where not 100% correct. Got me initially.
