The bull centaurs are voiced by saurus warriors. The legendary chaos dwarf is tehenhauin. I cant unhear it

Another big reason they're good is because their hitbox is absolute dogshit. Put them in free battle against any archer unit you wish and observe how half the missiles just fly over them.

Another reason as to why they are so powerful is that their hit boxes are buggy. Their aim boxes that enemy archers aim for is much bigger than their hurt boxes were they actually takes damage. So a lot of enemy arrows will simply miss because they are aiming at air above or below or to the sides of the bull centaur. The flying taurus demons as units and as mounts have the same problem.

I think the Phoenixes for the high elfs might have a similar problem also. But in their case it might be that they actually have a wonky real life hitbox with large wings and a smallish center.

IF you for someone reason go up against an army with very high physical resistance, you can just let Astrogoth cast some Swords pf Rhuin on the Bull Centaurs to bypass that I think.

Yep. Just clump all the Bull Centaurs into a monster mash, cast OC Sword of Rhuin w/ Astrogoth (also triggering Kindleflame), and then cast Ash Cloud + OC Ash Cloud with Astro + the Hashut sorcerer. Physical resist for the enemy ceases to matter and they're taking 60% additional damage.

I gotta say chaos dwarfs have some nasty power creep. They buff the hell out of already strong units. Most factions have like 2-3 buffs max for end game units.

Man i love stellaris and would gladly watch a saving your disaster campaign on that. You’d be opening yourself up to so many more new viewers but understandable if not if it takes away from your main focus

Nice. Definitely will be saving this in my doomstack shelve. I don't love to play the game with doomstacks only, but there're definitely moments when you need to out cheese the AI.

I'd love to see some stellaris on the channel. I know this is a total war focused channel but I think it could be a cool thing to add to the mix, and its a game that I've always wanted to get more into but with how much its changed over the years its been hard for me to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing most the time.

Reminds me of Gorgers on Warhammer 3 launch with how overtuned they were. I'd expect similiar treatment and have them lose a lot of AP and go down to a 12 model count.

looking at the vs large bonus - you dont actually need it since bonus vs infantry is much more useful (more, also more bodies doing dmg, reducing the count reflects on faster results)

As always it was a pleasure to see Legend in action and this doomstack has a very good design (congrats to whoever did it). Imho there is much more fun to play with crapstacks, and playing with such strong armies is boring for me, but everyone enjoys the game in their own way, so... good job I think :)

I mean ... the unit is literally broken. so that result is about to be expected. Will suffer quite a bit more once their hitbox is fixed, although I'd still expect it to be rather strong ... just more vulnerable to missile fire.

arent Bull Centaurs bugged right now? They have weird hitboxes so a lot of missle fire is going through them without damaging them - so checking it vs wood elves is kindof a bad idea?

Honestly I watch less for the warhammer these days and more to just have something on in the background. With luck the game will continue to improve over time but Id be super interested to see you play games like Stelaris. It seems like a perfect game as it seems super complicated and id like tips on how to play before i bought it.

Trivia: in Brazilan Portuguese if you speak bullcentaur quickly it will sound like "pussytaurus" or "Vaginaurus"

Tried Instant gaming for a Warhammer 1 card, while the code unfortunately didn't work they where very fast with starting a refund process and getting it back to me. All I had to do was provide them with a picture of the invalid steam key I received. Will try them out again in the future.

No he does not buff them, the bull hero is really underwhelming.... He is a decent duelist vs large lord/hero but that's it, he have training witch is useless he boost public order (good but not really needed)..... For support He have guardian ability and it is it. I usually keep all in 1 army, it is a decent doomstack

It's weird how the strongest unit in the chaos dwarf roster is something i wouldn't even associate with them. It looks like something straight out of the beastmen faction. Also they're strong in the weird way of it just...being way better than it should be for no reason. Like the opposite of a dread saurian, something that looks dangerous but is crap.

@@lb2791 I don't doubt that, i don't know the source material. I just look at chaos dwarfs and expect to see dwarfs and mechanical stuff, like the dreadquake. These units just don't feel like they should be such important units in their roster. Not saying remove them, i mean it's weird how important they are in the game. Like high elves having their best unit...i dunno, a tank or something.

Cycle charging on this scale isn't worth it. Charge bonus only lasts a couple of seconds and because the enemy is not engaged with another unit, it takes so long for the cav to get out that your DPS loss is actually higher than just leaving them in combat.

Vanguard deployment is absolutely useless, should've given them Devastating Flanker -- it's REALLY good. Mixing it up with Dual Axes variants is a much better choice although it depends what you're up against (overall I'd say you're going to run into more infantry-based threats than large unit threats, so I strongly disagree with you there Legend). As you said at 10:00 Dual Axes would've been better, would've absolutely melted those enemy units. Or if you mix it up in a doomstack then really 4-6 Great Weapon variants are good enough. Regular Bull Centaur Renders are never necessary anymore once you use the Barrier improvement. The heroes seemed a bit pointless. Of course, having Magic as option is very good, but that has nothing to do with the army composition/doomstack itself. I guess you could give them stuff like Helm of Discord or Glittering Scales, or something similar. Do keep in mind that there's one part where this may get awkward: sieges. Although, really, Astragoth can solo that anyway. But the point is, the Bull Centaurs will be meh in sieges. Best way to build Astragoth is just some Bull Centaurs supported by a lot of artillery, but then we're not really talking about Doomstacks anymore as that's just CD artillery being insanely good.

Actually, this battle is not on very hard difficulty, only hard. At 2:56:00 it shows "Difficulty modifier: -4"

-4 leadership is the modifier for the very hard difficulty setting.

hard is -2 for the player +4 for ai. Very hard is -4 for the player +8 for the ai.

Truly cant agree with the stellaris add more, great game. Be warned however of its one major flaw, the real experience is with all the dlc, and it gets expensive.
