In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I was familiar with the myth, and it was obvious Morgana was aswell. I don't even fault Alex or Greg or the others for not knowing it (since mostly the myth also is like luring the sailor in to kill them or something, not marry them), but I'm honestly baffled Morgana didn't point out the myth to defend her proposal.

Victoria during that marriage task was super sweet. I was going "ahhhhhhhh" throughout the whole bit of her talking about how in love she is with David. Just super sweet.

I was proposed to at PF Chang’s. Yes our meal was comped. And on several anniversaries of that proposal after. My husband HATES when I tell people about the PF Chang’s marriage proposal because he felt he should’ve done much better. He just shyly put the ring box on the table, which I immediately recognized because it was my late grandmother’s. He was so freakin nervous. I adore him.

Victoria's instant semi-proposal reminds me of the Lexi scene from Grey's anatomy, where she blurts out her feelings and just rambles on and on... which is I think a TV history moment. And Victoria just spontaneously made a speech as loaded with emotions and as engaging as a whole TV show production team did.
