Shinobido Way of The Ninja, even in these days this underrated masterpiece remain the most unique and interesting ninja game that was ever made it, in my opinion it's even better than Tenchu by distance because you have a more diverse and dynamic storyline, you have more freedom in your actions and the gameplay it's more addictive from what I can tell, Shinobido remain my favorite game from PS2 era..

Agree. I personally find Shinobido better than Tenchu as the gameplay is more free and fluent. I tried to get into Tenchu but just too stiff.

I want to see a modern version of this, with the ninja customization from tenchu z, loot and rpg mechanics from a souls game, and the interconnected level design of elden ring. and I'd also kill to see a modern way of the samurai game, they are so unique.

@@Kenubinin1 ikr, ninja games are so slept on. I remember a while back watching an interview with a dev from ubisoft who was talking about how they came up with the next game, and how they KNEW everyone wanted a ninja AC game but they felt it was low hanging fruit, and I think a lot of companies have this mindset, that a ninja game is like, to predictable or something, so they don't make it. Idk, shits crazy to me, I want a new ninja game every months of the year if I could lol.

I could without the interconnected world, I'd prefer Hitman or Dishonored like maps. Other than that a new Shinobido type game is my dream game it just needs an update to it's fight mechanics (maybe a similar style to Sekiro) and more mission variety and we are golden.

I love the movement speed in Shinobido. You really feel like a ninja. That's why I prefer it over Tenchu.

Shinobido Way of the Ninja basically its a clone from Tenchu, but a better version from what I can tell, the vibe and experience from Shinobido Way of the Ninja it's so unique and underrated, in my opinion it's the best Ninja game ever that was creat it, for me personally in Shinobido I feel more like a true ninja, because I can go and play and choose much more type of missions, and your actions are more versatile unlike in Tenchu games where your actions are too liniar and simple, In Shinobido you have more freedom in your actions of the story and the gameplay aspects, the Concept of the fact that you can go and choose so many diverse type of missions and you can extend your way of playing in almost every sense, that's what makes Shinobido In my eyes a much better choice than Tenchu, I don't say that Tenchu is so bad, actually I have all the games of the series, but from my experience on both games, Shinobido will offer a more unique feeling, also try and listen some Soundtracks of Shinobido, the vibe of these soundtracks are so divine, all I can say its that I feel more like a true ninja when I play Shinobido, than when I play Tenchu... I hope you understand my point of view ☯️

Funny how I've just come back to my childhood, after somehow finding Tiger and Dragon. I remember playing this (Shinobido) as a Demo on my Ps2 back then! I found myself buying Tenchu Wrath of Heaven instead tho.. Still, a short trip back along memory lane.

This game is an undisputed masterpiece in the assassin genre. The only close equivalent i can find is Hitman. Sadly Ubisoft ruined the assassin genre by spamming 10 titles in less than 8 years with all their titles being terrible trash.

Using scroll called masterunderstanding you can always sk even infront of the enemy, or you can use invisible shadow scroll.. work like a charm

Japanese version had the same as the psp version. But I really prefer the animations from the English version
