Umm, how about assessing its quality based off of compositional merit? This is not vocal harmony in the traditional sense, it’s an auto tuned voice that works/feels more like a synth. We know this. Isn’t this obvious? It is its own instrument. It’d be like calling the game of whiffle ball a “bad game” on the grounds that there’s not real baseballs being used. No shit, it was designed that way.

Parallel 5ths in of themselves don't really bother me. Power chord voicings basically require them. They only become an issue to me when in a vocal or string arrangement, where the sound is very pure, so they draw way more attention to themselves. They're also surprisingly difficult to sing, because it becomes hard to hear your own voice separately from the voice above you, so try not to use them for 4-part vocals especially!
