You can independently change chat scale in mc settings or lunar client settings

i believe a lot of the smoothness we perceive in this video comes from his video rendering settings! it's possible he's recording in a high framerate and blending the frames in his editing software, which creates a nice motion blur effect, but it's also possible that he records in 60 fps and uses a program like teknoblur to increase the framerate and blend them together after the fact, which is more approachable by lower end systems. that's what i do :)
