The fate of death did seem worst to her than her father's scoulding. As the blade touch her skin, she heard a familious sound...

tbh the book doesnt sound THAT bad at all. I like his descriptions and the magic of the world, while not too complex and ultra original, still works and i feel like with the right imagination he could really do something cool. The character names are kinda weird and out of place tho, especially "Timothy".

Only problems I had with it are:the fact that it tends to be pretty generic, plus the descriptions, while quick and simple, aren't that great at panting the situations and environment. The names would work great if it was a comical fantiasy book (such as Terry Pratchett's books), but feel completely out of place in a high fantasy context.
