Love watching people's reaction to this mod. Honestly probably the best mod we've gotten, like, ever? Mod Context: It’s A Me and Starman Slaughter’s Mario is based off of a VERY old picture of a creepy mario with sharp teeth holding a knife with the text “mario get you next time”, the Peach.EXE is based on a similar picture with Peach, and the Yoshi is just simply from a Yoshi.EXE game So Cool has Chris Pratt…I don’t think I need to explain this one Nourishing Blood has Grandad, a bootleg character who got popularized from vinesauce. He’s basically a meme character, nothing much to it. MARIO SING AND GAME RHYTHM 9 has Somari from a bootleg game of the same name, which was just Sonic 1 with Mario replacing Sonic Alone is based on both the beta of Luigi’s mansion, in which there bad ending where mario is trapped forever and luigi gets depressed over it, and the hanging luigi glitch from luigi’s mansion, in which talking on a phone in the attic when lightning strikes will cause your shadow to be slack and raised under a ceiling beam as if it was hanging from a noose Thalassophobia is based on L is Real, an urban legend about Luigi being playable in SM64. On the fountain star statue behind the castle in the game, in blurry letters it appears to say “L is real 2401”, which lead to many people to believe that luigi was an unlockable character in the game with even IGN offering a $100 bounty to prove that L is Real was real. And then, on July 25th 2020 (24 years and 01 month after the release of SM64 in japan), the existence of a luigi model and voice clips were confirmed, completing the prophecy of L is real 2401... Oh God No and I Hate You is based on IHateYou.exe, a story where luigi betrays mario and mario is forced to kill his own brother by knocking him into lava. This creepypasta is...a VERY confusing one, Mario being trapped in a place called the lost woods being hunted by a ghostly figure resembling Peach, with a ton of various things happening due to doing specific things, many endings, constant game resets, and even getting messages by hacking the game and/or changing things about the game It should be noted that the backstory of this game is barely explained, practically unknown, so it’s all up to your imagination as to what happened to Peach and why Mario is wrapped up in this nightmare Bad Day is based on Super Bad Mario, a pair of videos in which several fail clips have mario edited in to make him the secret cause of people’s fails irl Day Out is based on Luigi’s Day Out, an old animation where Mario is a punk and Luigi is innocent and childish despite being 35, Mario being forced to take Luigi along with him one day by his mother. The place the song takes place in and the interactions are from the actual animation, but instead of BF and GF, it was Waluigi and Daisy. Dictator is based on Secret Histories Mario, where due to Mario being married to Peach and being seen as a hero, it helped him rise to a position of power and soon allowed him to become a dictator of the mushroom kingdom, where he’d show his true colors. From killing sonic after he didn’t make ends meet of helping bring down sega, to giving peach botched plastic surgery and kicking her to the curb when she wronged him, this Mario is nothing short of a remorseless monster. The setting of this song is based on sonic’s death in that video Race Traitors has Racist Mario, a Flashgitz animation in which mario kills everyone since they invited non nintendo characters to race No Hope has Devil Mario from the series Power Star, in which mario is possessed and his body used to collect the power stars to destroy everything and everyone Golden Land has GB and since V1 he has gotten his own creepypasta, Black & White. He was created on accident by Christine, a girl responsible for making a new Nintendo console known only as “Project: Atlantis”, which was a collaboration with a company called OptiSoft. Starting as just an array of blinking white dots in the shape of a person, he would begin to quickly learn when connected to the internet, and became various characters based on the cartridge the data was put into, becoming Mario when put on a SML2 cartridge. Mr. L is Luigi’s vengeful spirit who came after Mario after he accidentally killed him by cutting the bridge with Luigi on it, sending him into the lava below. Originally, the song was called Final Encounter and had only Omega, but the song was scrapped after it was leaked a long time ago and Omega was removed for a while before they eventually brought him back, with his idle and some of his sprites based off Final Encounter. I don’t know who made Ultra M, but Omega was made by sandii and marco, and LG, W4R, and Y0SH are simply just minions of Omega (Ultra M’s lore is in the funk kast trailer) Unbeatable is based on a real and very cursed nintendo nes commercial, just look it up, it’s shocking they thought this was a good way to sell their product

Some of my favorite tiny details in the mod: When Horror Mario falls off his platform in Starman Slaughter, it's because Yoshi.exe smashes the POW Block in the background and makes him lose his balance. Yoshi.exe looks shocked when Horror Peach gets cut down, but then gets cleavered in the nose, which is why he falls too. BF does indeed break the deal, namely that he agreed to three songs, and ran off after the second one. Alone and OH GOD NO have quiet but real lyrics tucked away that need some high volume to hear, but they're very neat. Tell me if you find them! Bad Day has Super Bad Mario actually change his tactics if you're using upscroll or downscroll. If you use upscroll, he jumps on the notes, but if you use downscroll, he hits them upwards. Demise has an actual animation for MX jumping out the pit, it's just very hard to see.

Here’s a not so fun fact: at the beginning of alone, the bar is already on the losing side of Luigi, they gave up, plus Mario speaks when his ghost shows up and says and it says “Luigi, where did you go, I’m stranded lost and alone, Luigi, where did you go” than Luigi speaks one last bit “ooooooh Mario”

A bit of context on the different worlds/weeks accessed in the Overworld: Irregularity Isle is based on joke/meme/bootleg content, between 7 Grand Dad, Somari and the ever-parodied Chris Pratt appearance. Woodland of Lies has two parts to it. Half of it is based on unused/Beta content, like the Luigi's Mansion ending, L is Real and Wario Apparition. The other half are creepypasta taking place in Super Mario World. Content Cosmos are fan animations made for Mario, like Secret Histories, Power Star and Luigi's Day Out. Hellish Heights is based on creepypasta/EXE created in more modern days, most notably MX from Mario 85, Mr. L from Too Late.exe and DJ Hallyboo of Mario Party DS Anti-Piracy fame. Classified Castle is itself a tribute to the entire Classified series made by Greenio.

For Alone explanation, the Luigi we see was planned to be either a game over screen or bad ending rank screen but was scrapped still becoming infamously scary on the internet thanks to it being shown in a trailer. The reason Luigi is so sad relates to the story of the game where Luigi wins a Mansion leading to Mario checking it out before him, but this was a trap by King Boo leading to Mario being put into a painting by him, this song takes place in the scenario of if Luigi couldn’t save Mario leading him to be depressed while Mario is forever lost, you can even hear Mario singing about this if you listen to the instrumental or just closely, originally in early development of Luigi’s Mansion, the game was going to have a time limit so that might be what led to Luigi failing which is really bad considering how much spin offs establish just how much Mario and Luigi depend on each other

to explain why luigi has a mansion, it was a scheme by king boo to kidnap mario, he gave it to luigi by sending a note saying he won a "free mansion" luigi being terrified, called mario to investigate it, allowing king boo to turn him into a painting, forcing luigi to save him. ironically, luigi actually KEPT this mansion after beating king boo, and reworked it to actually look pretty nice, you can see it in mario kart's luigi circuit, and a few other games iirc. its got the same layout, but looks way nicer. so yeah, he actually does own the mansion.

You should absolutely play the Luigi's mansion series. All 3 games are amazing childhood classics. The lore for 'alone' is based off a beta game over screen of Luigi's mansion 1, with Mario being stuck in King Boo's painting for eternity. Utterly devastating Luigi's mental state, sending him into a deep depression. There was also a bug in the attic whilst using the phone you have where at the right angle Luigi would look to have committed suicide with a noose. In the song you can actually hear mario singing to Luigi through the painting. "Luigi... Where did you go?" "Im stranded... lost and alone..." "Luigi... Where did you go?" Luigi responds with a long sorrowful note. "Ohhhh... Mario..."

the luigi in "Alone" is beta luigi, basically if you get the bad ending in the beta of luigi's mansion luigi looks like this then there is a chair and a nuse in the room with beta luigi insinuating he is going to hang himself, which is shown with Bf when the lighting strikes, and the actual luigi's mansion's plot is luigi has to face his fears of ghosts when king buu traps mario in a painting, the good ending results with luigi and mario on a bus ride home with luigi's new adorable ghost puppy, bad ending of the normal game is luigi sitting on the steps outside filled with guilt, beta bad ending is the nuse ending with this luigi

Little fact about the Mario before All-Stars, it goes by Costume. Because it's literally a costume. It's worn by someone named Michael. The story behind it is similar to Five Nights At Freddy's. Michael uses the Mario suit to kill a bunch of children which is why Costume's face does not change at all during the song. Classified Castle is 3 songs in one single video that is actually on KZfaq. I forgot what it's called, but the point is, Costume is actually very hard to see in that picture and the real video. You can barely even make him out. Which is why Costume feels so dark. It is really, really sinister.

According to the lore(got this from a vid) after MX killed Gf and moments after that Bf and GF escaped MX went to Horror Mario about Gf's resurrection ability result killing them both later on(but I feel like Ultra M would've found out anyways after he killed Gf and took her resurrection ability away(And fun fact at 1:33:08 if you guys ever played Super Mario you can here the boss theme as well)

Funnily enough(or not) Paranoia is supposed to change your wallpaper back to what you had before when it ends, so I am unsure what happened. I'm assuming you probably turned something on in the settings like a "low-spec" option I think, but I'm pretty sure it's still supposed to change back.

For me, all stars is the song that I work with the most, and more in act 4 The reason is because of the art style it has, I like the detail they gave it to make it look like a real final battle that defines BF's life Also, I like that during the middle of the act, Ultra M starts singing with the voices of all the rivals that BF faced throughout the mod And the part at the end, when Ultra M and GF start singing behind BF when he gains strength to fight, something that few noticed because of BF's high volume in that part

This mod is amazing, so is your gameplay! Honestly this mod is as good as BlueBalls incident!

Just just here to let you know in the song all stars in act 4 there are some lyrics that begin at 1:57:14 and here they are: "See in the star." "Move on lost way." "All that we are." "Living to stay." "Part of it all." "Take off all face." "Beckoning call." "Join us." This repeats again then the lyrics change to: "Say it's true!" "Me and you!" "Make it through!" "What we have to do!" "Lets be free!" "Cant you see?" "IT'S-A-ME!" I wish these were more audible though because the vocals/instrumental drowns out the lyrics.

Some facts i remember about the peach at 40:07 ! This ROM hack was my favourite thing in the world, but I forgot some things about it so this might be outdated information or without proper details. She's from a rom hack called "coronation day" or "the". The story is extremely hard to piece together and difficult to make out from one or two playthroughs but this is what i gathered on my runs. There is this man who has many followers. He is called "The red king" by the fandom but goes unnamed in the game. You play as Mario, who is likely an avatar for one of the king's followers who helped in their ritual. Long story short (and simple because my memory is bad), The king had Peach kill nearly all the inhabitants of the forest, then mutilated and took out Peach's organs and limbs in a ritual. The follower goes to hell for their actions as the other subjects likely did, but the god of the forest likely will never and will continue his reign over the flies in Peach's rotting form.

Neat tidbit about the Alone segment that I can't see in this playthrough for some reason, but I've seen it in others... There is a lightning flash that shows Boyfriend hanging, akin to the Luigi hanging visual bug in Luigi's Mansion.

Something I like about slimebeast (he wrote the trollpasta I Hate You, the inspiration behind this mod's Oh God No and I Hate You) is that he writes as if the narrator is looking at a regular creepypasta-style haunted/corrupted/disturbing game but *just doesn't understand that* He did another where the narrator is trying to do a MatPat-style teardown of Mario, but brings up this game the reader has never heard of called Mario Nights... which has some very disturbing imagery that the narrator glosses past in order to insist that Mario's the bad guy for taking them out and stopping the big bad bat emperor from bloodily eating Peach's face

Look at the Icon in All Stars Act 4 it shows Mario and the other Mario’s you faced in the story and even some of the Luigi’s Also more news there is not gonna be V3 version of Mario’s Madness but there is gonna be a new update for it with some new songs. I also didn’t see Overdue Luigi meaning Overdue Luigi doesn’t work for Mario.

In overdue the song is based off a creepy pasta called too late.exe the character is Mr.L the scenes are based off the levels from the game

I watch this mod too much. I have it's best songs on my playlist, and I've watched like 8 of these reaction videos to this mod, start to finish. It's my favorite FNF mod, but I feel like a lot of FNF mods have a problem where a song or songs feel(s) like filler. I only have the non filler songs on my playlist. Most of the songs in the content cosmos sound like said filler to me. Like they're just there, but I'm not loving the song but it's also not bad, just kind of there. Not to be rude to the developers or anything, the mod is great, like the artwork, and sheer size of the mod, so with a big mod like this, it's bound to have at least one song like this. Does anyone else think this whole "filler song" thing?

Dictator is probably one of my favorite songs charting wise. I am dogshit at fnf, I am not good at rhythm games that much and I have a laptop not a desktop (I had to skip 4 songs, all the ones with the tv overlay and such with botplay not due to my own skill but due to their effects absolutely tanking my fps even with low quality mode) so my timings can be even worse but the charting of Dictator, something about it and my brain clicked and it was my lowest missed song
